Braum’s

Yummy ice cream and frozen yogurt. This place also serves breakfast, lunch, and has a fresh market! Only downfall is how crazy busy it gets. They also don’t list the flavors for people in line to see so by the time everyone gets to the front to order, they’re not ready, they’re still looking at the list of flavors. Time and efficiency, people!

I love braums and have never had a problem with the service. But tonight I just had the worse drive thru customer service experience I have ever at a fast food location. And probably will never be back again. It all started when the drive thru employee was about to hand me an ice cream in a cup with whipped without a lid. I told her i need a lid on top of the ice cream or else it will spill everywhere. She said they did have have lids they only have flat ones and it will not fit. I told her cant you just put it in a different cup. She proceeds to grab a clear drinking cup and put the uncovered ice cream in this small cup… I told her that does not resolve anything. And she starts to get angry with me, asking me what I want her to do about it. I told her I wasn’t sure. So she went to go talk to someone standing near by. Meanwhile a manager comes to the window and yells out we don’t have lids for the cup so you want it or not? I told her why are you being so rude? Clearly at this point I was literally about to loose my temper. And she laughs and says I’m really not. And I said I just need something to cover my ice cream so it doesn’t make a mess. She finally says oh in a Sundae dish and slams the window. I’m sorry did I miss something? Was I suppose to say this when I ordered. I almost felt like it was pretty obvious that you don’t hand someone an uncovered ice cream when they have to drive. She came back to the window with my ice cream. The whole experience was ridiculous and such a waste of my time after a long day of work.

One word… dirty!
Management take note… we stop by every few months or so to check and see if the cleanliness of this restaurant has changed. While the floor/​seating area seemed clean enough, the freezers with the dip out ice cream had masses of dripped ice cream on the lift up lids towards the patrons side of the counter. Icky and no thanks!

Braum’s used to be good. The quality of their food has diminished. It’s a shame because I liked their burgers. This location is too busy worrying about getting people in and out as fast as they can, they let the food go to crap. They are trying so hard to compete with your typical fast food places, like McDonald’s, that the burgers are not made fresh at all. They are just sitting there and slapped together at the last minute, which makes for a nasty tasting burger.

Right next to Rite Aid in Cali, this is my second favorite!
The layout here is really. interesting. Nothing that I’ve ever seen before. It’s like, part fast food/​ice cream joint/​grocery store.
I like the cherry ice cream here, it’s really good. Aw, I wish I’ve gotten more ice cream here while taking walks around the neighborhood.

I used to like this Braum’s. I’ve been eating here for years, but I presently I feel that the quality has diminished. The hot fudge they use now taste horrible! It taste very bitter and disgusting. The caramel is normally okay, but was pretty bad as well. I ate at this Braum’s for the last time yesterday and I will not be back. That was the 3^rd strike! I took my hot fudge-​caramel sunday home and was highly disappointed and ended up throwing it in the garbage after 3 horrible bites. It was a waste of money. The caramel and hot fudge were both rock-​hard and had a horrible taste. They need to go back to the fudge they were using a year or so ago. Whatever they are using now is tragic. There’s another Braum’s location as well nearby that I normally patronize, and I have noticed the same change. I don’t know if these are locations franchised by the same individual or if they are corporate owned, but they need to look into what I’m saying.

Great for fast food! I really like their krinkly fries and chicken strip biscuits with gravy. and I luuuuuv their ice cream because it does not melt so quickly. Their marshmellow topping is awesome!

Well the floors were sopping wet back near where we sat. My husband ordered our 2 meals and they only gave us one order of fries. My husband said they just shoved them in the bag and didn’t apologize. As clean as the floors and tables were, the wooden blinds were very neglected. My allergies were acting up because of the thick layer of dust on the blinds near our table.
The food was good for the money. Then we went to get groceries. We only picked up milk because the other stuff was more expensive compared to grocery stores.

Cheap and good ice cream= awesome! Their burgers are also pretty delish!
Every time Ive been there I haven’t had to wait in long lines to place my order.
I’m sad they don’t have any Braum’s down in Houston.

I did not know Braum’s serves more than just ice-​cream until very recently! I got their Miami Burger which was a ¹⁄₃ lb burger with a huge slice of ham and swiss cheese. The burger was above average in flavor and very, very filling. Then toss in fries and a drink. I was totally satisfied with eating at Braum’s.
My only «beef» with the place was they got my friend’s order wrong. I also noticed a few other people got their orders wrong too. They were understaffed. It was lunchtime. Seemed like that the same guy cooking the burgers was also taking orders.
