This is one of my favorite breakfast spots in town. –The biscuits and gravy are to die for. The service was all right but my cup of coffee never reached empty, which was a huge plus for me. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was open and inviting.

Has been good at times. But when you order over medium egg on a breakfast sandwich and the white runs all over when you bite into it… well. can’t stomach that! Better service than clifton though.

Came here with family on the day we were heading back to Arizona from Colorado. Dad talked this place up and he was definitely right about it! Great food, large serving portions, awesome service, and a sweet Mom ‘n Pop place. Perfect for Grand Junction and they also have 2 other locations in the valley. I got the Chicken Fried Steak with Sunny Side Up eggs and hash browns and it was so delicious, not to mention filling. As I mentioned before, you definitely get hearty portion sizes when you eat here. I couldn’t even finish my meal, but it was well worth ordering. I would definitely have it again and I will gladly make a return visit next time we are in GJ. My brother and his wife had omelettes and pancakes, which also looked tasty. My dad said everything he has ever tried there has been very good, so now I know to try other things upon return visits as well. If you’re in Grand Junction, Clifton, or Orchard Mesa while visiting the Grand Junction area, stop by and give Randy’s a try. I totally recommend it.

I was told to come here for the chicken fried steak for breakfast and I did. You get chicken fried steak, 2 eggs, grits, home fries or hash browns and toast or pancakes all for $ 10. Helluva deal. I opted for my eggs scrambled, hash browns and sourdough toast and I couldn’t finish my breakfast. That is how much food they give you. The chicken fried steak took up half my plate and it was hella good. The breading stood up to the thick sausage gravy it was smothered in. It’s a good, hearty, stick to your ribs meal. The other people in my party ordered made to order omelettes and a pancake & bacon special and those looked real good too. When I come back to town, Randy’s will be on my list to return. Oh and our waitress gave us excellent service too.

First time here. Friendly and fast service. The place is decent on the inside. Had the biscuits supreme. Very tasty, biscuits very good and gravy tasty too. Came with only one egg on it though but otherwise a good breakfast. I will come back next time I’m in town.

I have to hand it to Randy’s. The staff is quick, efficient, yet make you feel as if you are the most important customer in the room. I have been here numerous times and the food is consistently hot and delicious. The eggs Benedict are my personal favorite with a hollandaise sauce that is awesome. Portions are decent, and prices are quite competitive. The dining room can get packed quite quickly on a Sunday morning though. I guess the word is out. Nearby competitors are dismal in comparison.

Stopped in here for breakfast before the Co. Mtn Wine Fest. Super friendly service! Everyone here was so nice! We had to protein up before going to taste all the wines, they had an omelette with all the meats(ham, sausage, bacon), cheese, a side of hash-browns, and came with toast –everything was wonderful– No complaints! Would def return next year when in town for Wine Fest!

Stopped by for breakfast while waiting to get a tire fix, driving cross country. What a great find. Lots of breakfast options, reasonable prices, everything was delicious. Mom got the western omelet, I opted for the biscuits supreme. Biscuits and gravy shouldn’t be too hard to make bur you would be surprised how often people screw it up. I was not disappointed however. Everything was fabulous. the waitstaff was very friendly and attentive. Would definitely make this a stop on my next trip.

DISGUSTING! We decided to try Randy’s, as we’d heard good things, boy were we ever surprised. Our waitress took a solid 15 minutes to even acknowledge our existence after we were seated, as she was too busy flirting with a guy at a corner table, and when she finally did come to us, she was carrying a coffee pot that looked as if it had never been cleaned, I passed on that and ordered Iced Tea, even though we should have just left. I got my tea, and it was stale tasting, so I just drank water. We ordered our food, and when it came out, my scrambled soft eggs were way over cooked, and the chicken fried steak had barely any gravy, I sent it back. I then received a «new» dish with gravy slipped on everything, that’s when we got up and walked. Stay away from this dump, you’ll live longer.

Enjoyable breakfast I had the Country Burrito with added sausage which I would recommend, good diner type atmosphere, and a friendly hard working wait staff. Price point was right where I felt it should be.

Found this diner on Unilocal which happened to be next to a motel I found on Unilocal while in Grand Junction… to begin I showed up at 6am on a Sunday morning waiting for them to open. I had an early start that morning. This could have gone south in a hurry. The waitress greeted be with a big welcome and had coffee in front of me before I could sit down. I know she had a million things to do still but was on it! That had now set an expectation that what should come should be pretty good, aI was the only customer in the house the food would be great, fresh and hot, right? Simple bacon eggs would suffice for the journey home… Wasn’t to be, eggs overdone:(bacon way undercooked, like rubber and a gigantic piece of uncut bread that served as toast. What gives??? Not another soul around. The hash browns were even cold. If your going to stake your flag as a breakfast diner you need to be great, not just good when it comes to bacon and eggs. I believe this place just opened few months back so I’ll cut them some slack and try again next trip. And for some additional love… The diner was really clean, updated and contemporary. The owner gets some props there. And again, service was great.

Same great food, open for breakfast and lunch. The build your own omelette is a great feature. The owner dropped by the table as I was adding this location to Unilocal. He and his waitstaff are VERY friendly!
