I’ve been to music stores all over the world, and none of them have the vibe that the Hart family has created over the years. Everything in the store is perfectly clean and tuned for all to try. It amazes me a small local business can price match with the big box shops like guitar center. They have the best selection of Martin guitars I have ever seen. Amazing grand pianos, and electric keyboards. They make every person who walks in the door feel like family! As long as they are open, there is no need to shop anywhere else! Thank you.

I’ve always had good experiences here. Jan(I think he’s the general manager. He’s the older gentleman) is very attentive to customers. The first time I went in there, it was during Oktoberfest or some kind of downtown celebration of the sort. They were pretty busy in the store but they helped me find a guitar humidifier and I just wanted one pack and they went through the extra trouble to take just one out of the package for me and just charged me for one of them instead of the whole pack. That was really nice of them. Then when I went in again because I was dissatisfied with the product’s performance, they contacted D’Adario for me directly and D’Adario sent me a whole new pack for free

This must be the place! Everytime I visit a different city, I’m always on the lookout for the cool music store in town. You know, the one that actually knows what the good stuff is and actually tries to carry some of it. I won’t have to look any further when in G-Junct(but of course I still will ’cause that’s how I rock). Cool place.

My favorite music store in town(for guitars). The staff are all pretty cool(although sadly I can’t remember any of their names). There’s the owner, Mr. Hart himself, and his son, and several others. My favorite guy there is their banjo guy. I don’t personally play banjo, but enjoy watching him demo the product. The shop seems pretty small at times, and thats because it is PACKED full of instruments. They have such a huge selection of guitars, it is very easy for a guy to waste hours here drooling. They also have a number of pianos, from uprights to grands, and high end keyboards. And their basement area has been converted into the«drum cave»(most drummers belong in caves so its fitting, heh). Notable guitar/bass brands: Takamine(they even have an acoustic bass every now and then), Warwick, Ibanez, Fender, and so on. Really, if its a quality brand, its likely you will find it here. Again, huge selection. I really like a few of the guys at Mesa Music, and personally know the guys at Backporch(full disclosure, I’ve bought a bass from them too), but I think I personally prefer Hart the most of all. As for price, it is usually pretty fair, and one time I found a guitar I had wanted for a while in their shop. They wanted $ 110 less for it than Musician’s Friend(blew me away). Needless to say, I snatched it up right away(they even threw in a carrying case, free of charge).

If you’re a musician, Hart Music is the place to go. Their staff is extremely knowledgeable, and the business has been run by the Hart family the whole time. This ain’t your corporate music store.
