Enterprise Rent-A-Car

I had made a reservation online and my gps took me to the wrong location in town. My ride left and I was left there. I asked the very rude man who treated me as a child (he had to be only 2 years older than me) and when I asked how I can get to the other location he very rudely said «um take a taxi» as if I knew that was what to do. So much for «enterprise we’ll pick you up» they couldn’t even drive me to their other location 3 miles or so away. Another lady who had over heard the conversation offered to take me. Very rude people and extremely poor costumer service. I have never been so poorly treated by someone in my life and feel sorry for anyone who has to deal with these people in the future. Great prices, horrible people.

I had a reservation for a full-​size car and a coupon for a free upgrade which I planned to use on a Friday afternoon. When I arrived, there was only one car available — a mid-​size, because they rented everything else to people who just walked in off the street. I am 6’9″, so the so-​called «mid-​size» is not very comfortable for me. To make up for the «inconvenience,» they gave me yet another «free upgrade» coupon… which evidently are not usable, since many times there is nothing available for upgrade. On the plus side, the rental rate over the weekend was well-​priced.

I was very pleased with our car rental this last trip to lake City, Co. We had reserved a Jetta on-​line, and when we arrived, they had given us a Ford Edge, at the same price, no hassels, we will definitely be using them again

I had the worst experience ever today with Enterprise Rent-​A-​Car (5^th street grand junction, CO). I received a phone call 30 min before my reservation time and was told they did NOT have any cars for us (was already having to drive 113mi to get this car). I called customer service and was put through to the «escalation» department, after 45 short minutes and me suggesting they look at their «sister companies» they found me a vehicle in the same location as my original reservation (thru Alamo) but was told the rate was different ($ 600 MORE). They refused to accommodate me in any way. The local agent (grand junction airport-​Alamo) actually told me that maybe I would have better luck if I called Avis or Hertz???

I have made reservations from this Enterprise branch twelve times over the last year for both business and personal use. Cars are clean, up to date, and ample in variety. Parking on-​sight is a bit limited, but there is an extra lot nearby. They have transformed the typical hassle-​and-​annoyance-​filled experience of renting a car into one of convenience and, dare I say, fun. I absolutely look forward to each time I rent from here. The manager, Jose, and all the staff, particularly Meagan and Aaron, have always been exceedingly kind and helpful. «Oh, you’re in a hurry and your reserved car isn’t quite ready? Here, have a free upgrade.» «You found a better rate at the airport branch? Let’s match that so it’s more convenient to pick up your car.» Now, this can’t happen every time I rent, but I have never left here feeling disappointed or mistreated. Truly quality service and go-​the-​extra-​mile commitment are nearly impossible to find in customer service, so Enterprise Grand Junction gets 5 stars. Now if only my company would let me rent sports cars for business use…

Had made reservations in advance and spoke with employees at the branch several times icluding the day before. Of course when we showed up nothing even close to our reservation was available an our choices were between a Tony chevy aveo and a gas guzzling suv. We had to take the suv, a newer Kia, which of course broke down ruining the last couple days of our vacation. Enterprise did not want to send a tow truck or give us another car and even suggested that we drive it in and wait while they take it to a shop and try to make repairs. Between the useless telephone roadside support and the rep we got ahold of once they were open, it was the worst travel experience yet.
