We Ben & Elise, the owners. This is a happy store. We only allow ourselves ‘all we can fit in our hand’ each time we go because SUGAR!!! Fun place to get ‘retro’ candy.

Friendly staff, excellent selection of candy, but like everything else in GJ, you have to check the expiration date. I recently dropped $ 50 on candy for Easter and half the Jelly Bellies were hard as a rock and the other half were fresh. A $ 6 bag of licorice pieces was expired and tasted like Elmer’s glue, some gum was expired, some other stuff was expired. The sign on the wall behind the register says All Sales Are Final. Buyer beware, check the freshness dates and sample the Jelly Bellies first.

This place has looooots of sweet treats to satisfy your inner glutton. Even though the store is crowded, it remains clean and the atmosphere is friendly. I mean, what else would you expect? They’ve got a freaking rainbow awning at the front of their store. Of course they’re going to be friendly(I almost expected to be greeted by a Care Bear when I first walked in.) The biggest downfall of this place, in my opinion, is the price of candy. While there’s a large variety, prepare to pay a pretty penny.(That’s called alliteration, folks.) Then again, maybe that’s a good thing; it’ll keep you from buying too much in one go. Oh wow, I’m not sure how to feel about this. I’m both grateful and sad all at once. :| Friendly place. Lots of retro candy. Sugar everywhere. Lots of Jelly Belly jelly beans. Great location.(FYI, free street parking on weekends.)

Cute place. Lots of candies you’ll recognize, many you won’t. Both owners are extremely friendly and helpful. I have a few standbys candies here I always get(chupa chups!!!) but have them point you to something new to try too. You’ll likely not regret it.

I’ve been to this store several times, so thought I would share my experience. This store has an awesome selection of goodies from our past, and some I’ve never heard of. It’s a great place to buy a unique goody for my niece or nephews. The lady that helped us was very friendly and provided a lot of information about the different candies and also offered suggestions. I would suggest you stop in and check it out, and help support a local business!

Fun place. Old retro sodas and candies. Intriguing, lesser-known candies you buy by the pound. Wide selection of Jelly Belly jelly beans. There’s so much more I’m not mentioning. Good for gift ideas or to replenish your candy dish at work. :)
