This place is a staple. Simple as that. This is my «go to» breakfast and lunch place. At night it becomes a lively bar which can also be fun.

Great food and soups. Good service. Creepy tv shows playing. Nice instrumental music would really help the environment.

Get there before 11 if you want breakfast. Definitely worth the effort. Set your alarm! :-)

Staff is friendly, bar is the smallest I have ever seen. Didn’t try the food. It was ok.

Westside salad was great with salsa and guacamole and added chicken. The bean and bacon soup was wonderful. Pasta salad was tasty too. It’s small inside so don’t bring a large group. Service was fast but they weren’t busy at the time. I would go back.

Good burgers, great fries, but the tables are pretty close together.

It was our first trip to Grand Haven. We wanted something moderately quick, but still tasty so we could get to that beach! We both ordered burgers with curly fries and really enjoyed them. Just as good as Arbys curly fries. The food took a little longer than expected, but not bad at all. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. We were lucky because some of the waitstaff was not. It was definitely above average. The one thing that bothered me was that they have the potential to be that spot you just have to visit everytime you come to Grand Haven. But since it’s in an amazing location that will always draw people, I dont think they really care about hooking customers for life.

The burgers were very good, cooked the way I asked, and fairly priced for what you get. Service was good… our waitress went out of her way trying to track down a bottle of beer that she was fairly sure they were out of. The beer selection itself is pretty minimal though, so don’t expect to have a craft beer to go with your plate. I’ll return again when I’m in town.

Food here was great other than the pasta salad side. My wife had the fiesta burger, I had the French dip! There were 6 adults and 2 infants in our party seated outside the two star review is based on our server. I asked 3 separate times for lemons and our food took 54 minutes from order to table. I typically would t say anything g but after a crazy coast gaurd weekend and only having 3 total tables with a total of 13 people in the restaurant the level of service was subpar. Our waitress was unfriendly and had little to no remorse. When our food finally came 3 separate servers brought the food so clearly they were staffed. Food bought Fiesta burger x3 French dip Black bean burger wrap x 2

Very slow service. Very limited parking. Only positive is the location is ideal if you’re on the beach. Food and drinks are very average. Really, nothing to review that was outstanding so I’ll keep it brief.

Well, I’ve been back a few times since writing my earlier review. The most recent was on Sunday this pas week at suppertime. I must say that it is the firs time I have been disappointed in the place. The quality of all of the food has taken a downturn. We split a 1⁄3 lb Big Ship, cooked medium. I think the burger meat is just cheap top round and there was virtually no seasoning on it, so it was find of tasteless. We asked for the fried to be made extra crispy, but they were not crispy at all, and very mealy interior. Even the WATER! We asked for water with lemon, instead we got a lime and a slice so thin I think they were practicing with how thin they can make it. So slight it did not flavor the water at all even after crushing it against the side of the glass with a fork. I have always liked the looks of the place. Very cute from the outside and cozy inside. However the place is getting to be too small for the amount of tables they have set up now. It is very crowded. I often come in with a relative who uses a wheelchair or a walker, and it is nearly impossible for him to get around. The material on the bench seats are nearly all torn and the place is just getting very dirty-looking. I think they need to put some more of their profits into sprucing the place up. I know they make money. Every time I go in they have an additional HDTV on the wall. It badly needs new benches, and the men’s room – let’s just say there is a PUBLIC restroom in Grand Haven not far away that I would rather use. One other peeve – NOWIFI!

Had lunch there today after a long walk in Spring Lake. I had the BLT and my husband had the vegetarian black bean wrap. Both were very good and our plates went back completely empty. Our service was fast and friendly. So far, it is the best meal we have had in Grand Haven.

Got the roast beef sandwich which was meh. We were hungry from the drive from Ann Arbor and needed some grub. The sandwich itself is filled with mayo and it too simple. I could’ve made it at home myself. The lettuce wasn’t all that fresh. Overall, not a great item, and not something I’d get again. The burgers in our table all came out well done despite any preference they had for the patty. Fries are good and crispy.

The food was actually pretty good, but the service was SO slow I would never go back. Like literally, they had to go out and kill the chicken for my salad and regrow the lettuce. Took 30 minutes to get drinks and 1.5 hours for food. We went on a Friday at 1pm. The place is small, too. I feel bad for the large group who just arrived, because they won’t be getting their lunch until dinner time!

I hadn’t been to Grand Haven before, at least not eat. I was looking for something tasty for lunch and really kind of just stumbled upon this spot. It is small and cozy inside, but there was no wait on a Saturday at noon. The hot deli sandwich was absolutely amazing. I ordered one that had chopped chicken, mushrooms, sauteed onions, and homemade ranch. The bread was toasted to perfection… not too hard and crunchy, just right. My girlfriend got the roast beef hot deli sandwich and enjoyed it as well. A cheap dining experience too! That’s always a plus. Great spot! Cannot wait to go back next time I’m in the area.

I have to admit, I’m pretty superficial. When Craig and I walked in for dinner last night, the atmosphere was so poor that I wanted to walk right back out the door to Kirby’s. The décor is pretty hokey and there was NOONE in there! BUT, I’m glad we stayed. Here’s why: the cheesy cauliflower is awesome to start, and they had a pretty great selection of beers. I had the ½ pound Rodeo Burger which was delicious, and Craig had the full pound Magnificent burger, which was practically as big as his head! Curley fries were delicious as well. All in all, if you’re looking for a burger and a beer, this is the place to go.

Good service and sandwiches for a very reasonable price. Can’t beat Bells Oberon drafts for $ 3! Grilled chicken breast sandwich was huge and tasty with a perfectly toasted bun. Burgers at other tables looked great.

I walked up and down the block trying to figure out where I wanted to eat. I was really between some wannabe classy restaurant using the vintage look of the movie theatre they replaced and the like, so naturally Pavillion was on my radar. My server was really nice. She recommended the deep-fried cauliflower w/curry mayo and it was good. It was heavy, obviously, so I couldn’t eat it all. I asked that they replace the American Cheese with Jack on my tuna melt, but they forgot to do it. It didn’t matter anyway because my tuna melt wasn’t toasted and the cheese wasn’t melted. The tuna was dry even though it was loaded with mayo. They don’t have a lot of brews on tap. Pitty. But I like it here. I’d return for a brew and deep-fried anythings.
