I put a friend up at this hotel who was from out of town with her kids. She he led in and it seemed ok she said. We spent the day together and I didn’t see her before she had to leave early the next day. I was embarrassed and very disappointed in this hotel when she told me how Awful it was. She said the room itself was ok. Not the best but ok. She said the room next of her had a cat who was meowing all night long. She told the front desk and they said they didn’t allow cats so they didn’t think it was a cat but the tv. They said they would check it out.
She said it stopped for a few hours so she thought they talked to the person. They called her and said there was no cat. She said ok and then went to sleep. Then it started again. It was after midnight at this point so let it go and just left very early the next morning because 2 of the kids were sleeping. She should have said something again for sure but stayed because at least 2 of her kids asleep and she didn’t want to move them.

Great place to be at it is quiet and very clean receptionist are really friendly and nice and help out with whatever they can

What a lovely surprise! Well priced room with beautiful pool and common area. Only disappointment… room could easily accommodate two queens instead of double beds. Breakfast was perfect! Will surely stay again.

Good solid box where they keep the bed. Good breakfast buffet. Cheery desk help. Clean. Quiet.

The main place I stay when I visit Flint. It’s typically quiet, in a nice location, clean rooms and bathrooms. The rooms are pretty roomy as well, even if you get a double room and have a second person in the room with you. Never took advantage of the pool or hot tub, but it looked clean and inviting. The staff is very nice and welcoming. The only con I can think of is that they could expand the channel offerings a bit.

Had to get outta Dodge for a night so we tried Wingate. Very good experience. Friendly staff, clean rooms.

Hey if you’re in the Flint/​Grand Blanc area in Michigan, this is the place to stay. Very nice hotel, clean, friendly service, very reasonable prices. Has pool, gym, free wireless, free hot breakfast and free munchies all day in the lobby. All rooms have a wide screen TV, microwave, mini fridge, even Neutrogena products in the bathroom. Even their vending machines were very reasonable in price compared to other hotels.
Really the hotel made us feel at home. They have a dinning area for their breakfast next to the lobby, which also includes a sofa, coffee table and widescreen TV set up in the corner. On the Saturday we went out and grabbed Jet’s Pizza (see review) and brought it back to the hotel to eat in this area. The concierge/​desk clerk noticed that we didn’t have plates, napkins or cups as we started eating our pizza. She went out of her way to bring these items to us while we were watching the football game on the TV. Now that’s friendly service!
It really was a great stay, they made us feel very welcome.

Clean, big rooms, nice pool, centrally located. It’s Grand Blanc, so don’t expect room service. However if you are in town for whatever, you can’t go wrong here.
