Update to my last post — It’s been three years, but Scott did come out and see that our job was not complete up to par. We came to an agreement on coating the concrete and now it looks beautiful! We had the spa tiled and we were so impressed, we decided to have the whole pool done! It is just beautiful now, the oasis we always wanted. I guess every company goes through staffing issues and I really hope they have things worked out now. Our finished product is top notch and we are happy customers now!

I had a pool installed in the spring of 2015. Worst experience imaginable with my pool installation, patio and walkway. The project took twice as long as they guaranteed me it would. The pool is not even a year old and it hasn’t worked well yet. Their employees have been out numerous times and only one employee Jeff has actually been helpful and knows what he is doing. Their concrete subcontractor did a bad job and had one side of my pool deck round and the other squared off. With a 3 year old the sharp edge of the patio is not only not what we asked for but dangerous. There were cracks early on, my driveway was destroyed in the process and they tried to do concrete work at 11PM which ended up getting the cops called on us. I was dumb enough to pay them another $ 400+ to come open my pool this year and there has been algae in it multiple times. Now their employees tell me the electrical was wired wrong and needs to be redone. I have had pools for over 20 years of my life and never had issues like this. Please don’t listen to what any of these guys have to say and save yourself from getting swindled. I’m a very laid back person and I have never been as upset, disappointed, and frustrated as I am now with a very expensive project that is nowhere near minimum expectations. Midwest has started acknowledging all our issues. Slow going, but progress is being made. We received some of our money back for work that hasn’t been done; we will be receiving compensation for overcharged electrical from their electrician as well as excessive concrete we didn’t want; and we will get an extended warranty on the concrete. I’m hopeful our issues will be resolved once our pool is opened in about a month. Still need our power cover installed, happening soon!

We had Midwest Pools out of Grand Blanc, MI install our pool two years ago. It looks nice and the people were pleasant to deal with. BUT any and all service after the installation of the pool is horrible. We had an almost immediate crack in our concrete. NO call back. We had a problem with our salt chlorine generator and I was given the number to the manufacturer to find a fix rather than them coming to fix it. Just this past week I have called them three times to have our pool opened and not once has a call been returned. Even though the install was fine, the lack of customer service following is extremely frustrating on my part and terrible for business on theirs.

MidWest Pool did a fine job and quickly I might add, fixing my in ground pool leak. Special thanks to the professionals Mike and Jason for a job well done. I would recommend your company to anyone. Appreciate having people who know wha they are doing! Thx again Livonia Resident !
