Didn’t think I would find a Cuban restaurant close to us in Dauphin Island, AL. But right in Grand Bay is Ozzy’s! Wonderful papa rellenas, picadillo, maduros, and a great midnight sandwich with bread made locally every am! Ozzy and LJ have a great little take out restaurant going. The owners and staff are hard working but very personable… Ozzy shared with us different sauces they were making. Like one for their fried green tomatoes. Did I mention they were Cuban/Cajun? YUM! Don’t miss this place!!!

We were just passing through on our way to Florida last summer. We were hungry, and I spotted the sign for Ozzys. We U-turned back, as I didn’t start discussing lunch until after I saw the sign. So glad we went back! The food was fabulous and everyone was so friendly. We ordered a variety of food and definitely over-indulged. I’d never had plantains before and was very impressed. Love this place! We’ll go out of our way next time we are in the area so we can eat here again :)
