Granby Ranch Grill

Food is good… service is OK… they were short staffed when we were there… they need to open earlier…

This is our 4^th Xmas trip to Granby. We stay for 2weeks & typically comeback for spring break. This has been by far the worst experience. Restaurant opens at noon so nothing until then & you must wait in line to get a table. The staff has been all changed & extremely unfriendly. We might try one more time but that is strictly out of loyalty to a place that used to be great!!!

Went here for a wedding, my husband stopped into the bar to grab a drink to be completely ignored by the bartenders, and helped others that just kept walking up. My husband spoke up and was rudely told that would help him in a minute. I ended up going down after he came back completely irritated and was helped before others that were waiting… Crappy service. Crappy attitude. This isn’t Cocktail, your not Tom Cruise and I’m not paying you to swing bottles behind the bar. Ugh.

Just wondering what is going on with this place! I am just not sure when it is open and when it is closed! It is best just to call ahead! It seems to be open during ski season, but summer is iffy! If there is a private wedding, just forget it, it is probably closed! Can someone call me when you reopen? I like the chocolate mousse…

Terrible food. Undercooked gnocchi, poorly cooked and seasoned steak, cold soup, poorly seasoned prawns. Overpriced, poor service (very slow), and very disappointing.
I would not recommend this for dinner.

Great spot for lunch while skiing. Very relaxing casual elegance. Ate there everyday we skied because it was so good.

Finally! A night out with Henry & our kids. What a great place for casual fine dining. I had a Cucumber Bloody Mary with house made mix. Yummy. The pickle with siracha to top it off. Pizza was from the wood fire & burgers were grilled up right. Atmosphere was awesome of course. Overlooking the ski runs & lift. Great live music.

We stopped there for lunch today and sat outside watching all the folks get on the chairlift for a ride. The food was better than I could have ever expected! The waitress and host were so bubbly. There was a wedding, everyone in the wedding party getting ready to go to the top of the mountain for the big show. I am going back to try out happy hour and maybe dinner next time. Have fun!

If I’m at a ski resort where my only option is to eat at the resort bar and restaurant, then I expect it to be good. Unfortunately, Granby Ranch Grill did not live up to my expectations.
When I had finished with my day of skiing, I returned my rentals and stepped into the restaurant near the hostess stand. It took a while for anyone to recognize I was there, and then the waiters looked confused as to what I could be doing there. As if there were other possible reasons I would’ve stepped into a restaurant — I want to be seated!
When I was finally shown to a table, I ordered a reasonably priced Coors Light. That was the only thing on the menu, though, that was reasonably priced. I tried to find something to enjoy as an appetizer that wasn’t outrageously priced. I settled on a half-​order of wings for $ 8. I figured I’d get 5 or so. Nope. Three. Only three. And the wings were disgusting. I loved skiing at Granby Ranch, but if I come again, I’m bringing my own food and steering clear of this place.

Uh-oh…something is wrong. We have eaten here many times and enjoyed it very much.
There is a new chef this year so maybe that is the problem. The new bruschetta this year was not good. It was on limp bread with no real taste at all. It used to be so delicious last year!
Orderd BBQ wings. They were not fully cooked let alone crispy. They were very fatty. Could not eat them.
Ordered pizza and it was burned .
Saw a waitress deliver a burned hamburger.
What’s up? I am so disappointed!
