We were in search of picture frames. I had never been in a Beall’s before and was pleasantly surprised. It was not like the other discount stores I was thinking of. You know the ones, Steinmart, TJ Maxx, Ross, etc. Beall’s had a distinctive «mall feel», complete with the perfume counter right by the entrance. I could have done without that, but it was a cut above the typical discount stores, complete with non-​discount prices. I might keep it in mind for future visits, but we did not find a suitable picture frame (we did find what we we looking for a Walmart and at Staples).
