Ameci Pizza & Pasta

There pizza is really good and they take there time to make it. Every time I call in they take a while but that’s good you know it’s fresh. Sometimes it’s not that good, overall a good spot.

I love their pizza, there’s nothing wrong with that. However, I called to get a price on a pizza and the girl who answered the phone wasn’t sure, I heard her ask someone who told her $ 10.88 and then she told me the same thing. I even asked if that was after tax, and she said yes. So I placed the order and she gave me that total again. When we got there, she gave us the price she gave us over the phone, but then hesitated and she went to ask in the back. Then a manager or owner came and told us it would be $ 11.75. Simply because it was the cashier’s first day and she was visibly nervous, I didn’t want to have a confrontation so we just paid for the pizza and left. However, it’s deceitful service to tell someone one price over the phone and then give them another after they’ve driven to and arrived at your store. Talk about a bait and switch. I don’t blame the new cashier at all; I heard her ask about the price of exactly what I ordered (large one topping) and that’s what she told me. Whoever it was that came up after was the one who changed the price last minute. I can’t get over how shady that is! Lol.
Love this pizza but I will never come back to this location ever again.

I was so glad to hear this place is not closed! They were closed for a day due to a flooding problem but nothing due to any sanitary reasons. I love the food hear it’s my families favorite pizza been going here for years! I recommend it!

The consistency isn’t there all the time, but they’ve never done me wrong. I have an office next door and I’ve been there multiple times and gotten great service and food. In fact they actually catered my nieces second birthday where they also did a great job and friends asked me about the place. I recommend the breaded ravioli bites, those are my favorite.

It’s been a while since I had food from here. We used to order food from here for pick up since I was little. I ordered my usual fave… Eggplant parmigiana with spaghetti And calzone with ricotta. Yummers!!! The servings are great. It’s huge!!! The owner/​manager Rahim even gave me a complimentary garlic bread which is also good.

Food was delicious, but delivery driver didn’t even come to the door to deliver the food!!! He called me to tell me that he was down stairs waiting!

I write this review as I sit on the toilet with the cramps and diarrhea this place gave me last night! I ordered a simple pizza, sandwich and salad. How difficult is that to mess up and poison someone? Well, obviously it IS that easy. The delivery boy kept calling me «bra» which was annoying to start with. The pizza was soggy and flavorless, I probably would have had better flavor had I eaten the box. The sandwich was 95% bread 3% tomato and lettuce, 1% meat 1% mayo… yet. wait a moment… there was supposed to be Italian dressing on the sandwich. Well, for $ 7.99 that was a crappy dinner roll no flavor no meat. The salad for $ 6.99 was so tiny and ridiculously expensive for what it wasn’t. My wife and I have spent most of the night in the bathroom, thank goodness there are two in the house! I will never recommend this place to anyone. Should someone else recommend this place to me again I will just laugh at them. That is, should my wife and I make it out of this «day after disaster» alive! Horrible place!

I wish they had negative stars! This place is awful my pizza come an hour late. The pizza that was delivered was cold. Called and spoke to the owner or manager and gave me attitude like it was all my fault. Stay away people!

We have been ordering pizza from this place for 10 years now and I have to say that I was very disappointed with their pizza today. It was so bad that my son got sick from it. I asked for well done and easy on the sauce, believe me it was not well done. It was the soggiest pizza ever. We will never order from them again

I don’t understand some of the reviews here. It’s the best pizza place in Granada Hills by far. The pizzas will make you think your in Italy, and they only use real ingredients, no processed junk. The staff is also very helpful.

Honestly my wife and I ended up here because it was Sunday and that was when we realized that JeJe Chicken was closed, but Kelly had heard it was good, so we gave it a try.
The food was alright. Huge portions, but not that great, just alright, nothing I would care to try again.
I had a peperoni calzone, with Ricotta and Mozzarella and sauce on the side, it was decent, and tasty, but nothing too special. The marinara sauce didn’t stand out, nor were there any spices that seemed special. Big, but just OK.
My wife got a meatball sub sub with marinara, again, big portions, but nothing to make it stand out either.
Decent enough, but nothing I would seek out or try again.

The food is fresh and good but the owner and management do not honor coupons from entertainment or other coupon sources that clearly show their company name and address. The store is basically using free advertising and false information to create business but not honoring their public adverts. In a day and age of technology I’m glad I am able to expose this petty business practice that disrupts a patrons good day and well earned dollar. Thank you good people of San Fernando and the broader L.A. Area

Whenever I fancy pizza I always go here. The pizza is wonderful quality, The crust and everything on it has great flavor to it! Been going here for years, also the people working there are so friendly and funny as well. All that for a great price! Your missing out if you don’t try it!

So rude when I ordered my pizza and when I came to pick up the pizza the attitude was nasty and depressing. No customer service, no greeting no nothing. Absolutely terrible, its my 3 rd time ordering from this place. I figured we all have bad days but every time I came here it just got worse and worse. Sorry, but I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

DO NOT GO HERE! NEW OWNER IS A CHEAPSKATE AND AN A-​HOLE!
My mother and I came in here for lunch. We were both given the takeout menu from the stack on the front counter. I have been here before and noticed new young lady at the counter and a new owner in the kitchen. My mother chose the Meatball Sub Lunch Special, and I ordered the number 11 (the young lady was told to go by «numbers» instead of description.) I asked for the #11, Sausage and Peppers Sub Lunch Special. I received a Turkey Melt Sub instead. I approached the counter with the young lady and spoke to the owner. He says #11 is Turkey Melt and pointed to a large yellow sign on the wall on the other side of the store. There it was #11 — Turkey Melt. I showed him the takeout menu I had in my hand and opened it to the page and sure enough, THERE IT WAS — #11 SAUSAGE AND PEPPERS SUB LUNCH SPECIAL. He paused for a long time, thinking. Then he yells at me waving his hand and says, «THIS IS WHAT YOU ORDERED! THIS IS WHAT YOU EAT!» I asked for my money back, saying I am not eating what I did not order. He says, «I AM NOT GIVING YOU A REFUND!» I screamed back, «PLEASE GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK OR I WILL CALL THE POLICE!» and I took my phone out and began dialing for the local police station. He relented and voided my credit card payment. When I got home, I checked online to verify that he voided the transaction. He did.
I have nothing against the food, I have loved the food since back when I used to work for the original owners Angelo Falato and Nick Colasanto. This particular owner at the one on San Fernando Mission Rd is a total complete ASSHOLE. I can not and will not endorse this branch for as long as that ASSHOLE is there. Please continue to enjoy the excellent food that Ameci’s Pizza and Pasta has to offer AT ALL THE OTHER BRANCHES EXCEPT THIS ONE.

First of all I want to say that I love Ameci’s pizza and when I lived in Tarzana I ordered from another location and I never had a problem; however, this location blows.
I ordered a medium pepperoni and sausage pizza. I got a medium pepperoni, jalapeño and pineapple. I called the driver to let him know I got the wrong order. He gave me a nasty attitude, (needlessly because I was not rude to him) but he went back to get me the right order.
I waited about 30 minutes, called the driver back and he was very rude, cutting me off when I tried to speak, and acting as though he was the one who had been inconvenienced.
So I call the store to speak to the manager, of course there was no manager and the girl who answered the phone and took my order was new. She said the manager only comes by to «re up on like soda and stuff», so she didn’t know when he might be available. Of course… She also added about the driver «Yea, I know. He is having a bad day. Trust, he is being like that with all of us».
Delivery guy shows up about 40 minutes after he first got here, and asks «Where is the other pizza? What did you do, eat it?» At this point I had enough of his attitude so I told him «No it’s sitting right here, you want it back? Give me my money back and you can have it». He waved me off and said «I don’t need the other pizza». So then why ask about it, numb nut?
Anyhow, I opened my new pizza and this is what it looked like (see picture). It’s like he put it in his car vertically or something. I’m convinced he did it on purpose because the first pizza looked fine. That guy was a total jerk off, and the staff is clueless.
In conclusion, Casa de Pizza in Granada Hills, if I start a petition, will you PLEASE start delivering? I’m begging you.

Don’t come here in the summer. It’s unusually hot and there is no AC. Although there is plenty of seating, it’s too hot to hang in the dining area.
The salad bar was minimal, but the contents looked fresh. The manager/​owner person behind the counter wasn’t all that friendly. Patrons saying «for here» instead of «to go» quickly regretted that decision when they began sweating from the humid air in the restaurant.
The pizza was just ok. Once again, it was for my kids’ school. The kids aren’t very picky when it comes to pizza. Prices are good, and cheap lunch options are available.

If there was a zero star option I would leave them that. Not only did they misinform me on the cost they took the address wrong after it was reported back to them 3 times. They then demanded more money from us an after after we ordered our piZa that was promised on a 30 min wait time.

Haven’t had ameci pizza in over 3 years… So during lunch break I hit up his joint
Salad bar was your basic run of he mill, everything was ice cold (good thing) but only had two dressings ranch and Italian… They is have good croutons though crunchy and seasoned
Pizza was alright on the first try… Wierd order a medium cheese go here and it’s 7.99 order a large Togo and its 6.99 so I ordered mine Togo on the 2^nd try… Ordered it simple cheese well done… It was good for the price… def better then pizza pizza but no where near round table…
It’s a decent pie… Place was clean and they had the playoff games on TV… so overall a 3 star joint
