I visited this establishment for a lunch date with my 2 year old son. We were seated right away and asked for our drink orders before getting to the table. I got the impression that they must have a busy lunch crowd with most guests having to return to work.(I was right, a pretty big lunch crowd with most tables full.) I decided on a small cheese pizza and small salad bar(small salad bar= one trip.) My son had a typical toddler meal of chicken tenders and fries. The salad bar wasn’t very impressive with only a few topping choices besides the obvious lettuce. I definitely did not get my moneys worth for $ 3.99, but I did eat every bite. The pizza was delicious! The small had six slices. It had a yummy sauce and chewy, but crispy crust. I would return for the pizza!

This really sucks to write this review because I’ve enjoyed coming here in the past for their lunch specials during the week. I took a job out of town so I can’t make it here during the week anymore. There are few things that entice me to leave one-star reviews. Poor attitudes and practices from management are perhaps the quickest way to elicit a bad review. Anyway, we decided to give it a shot on a Sunday afternoon with the family because we had a mobile coupon from the Attractions book for a buy one get one free entrée up to $ 6. The only thing on the menu in the $ 6 range are subs. So, we ordered a couple of subs and showed the waitress the coupon. She looked confused and took my phone to the owners to show them the coupon. She came back and said that the owners would only honor the coupon at dinner on a dinner plate(none of which are even close to $ 6). It makes me angry when these restaurants put coupons out in order to attract business and then won’t honor them. It makes it even worse when the coupon is in a book that we paid for as part of a fundraiser. If it wasn’t for the coupon, we would not have come here today. It also irks me that their daily specials, which are $ 4.99 Monday — Friday are $ 1.50 more on Sunday. If extended family hadn’t been with us, I would have left without ordering. As it was, I just asked to change my order to a slice of pizza, the cheapest thing on the menu. To make it even worse, when I went to pay, the owner wanted to argue the coupon some more without my even mentioning it again. She pulled out her own attractions book to show me the print coupon, which reads exactly like the mobile app coupon, saying again that they would only honor it for a dinner plate at dinner(which it says nowhere on there). At that point, I just felt harassed about it. All I wanted to do was pay and leave. This restaurant won’t get another dime of our money. Don’t advertise, especially as part of charity fundraisers and then fail to honor your own coupons!

Not a fan of an open salad bar for all to sneeze on, the bruschetta bread was too oily and the owner is a bit over the top with his fake Italian accent. But I would give it another try…

I came visiting from out of town & this place has my business everytime I come back. Great selection of food, generous portions, very good pricing, and the staff is great all around! They have made a wonderful lasting impression. I didn’t catch our waitresses name but she’s blonde about 5’7″ & has a very bubbly personality. Hats off to everyone that works there!

This has quickly become my go-to Italian restaurant in Graham, with Angelo’s coming in at #2 and Anna Maria’s at #3. We don’t really have a bad Italian restaurant here — but Luigi’s is definitely the tops. The former restaurant here, Pulcinella’s, was excellent, with authentic food and atmosphere. When they closed and Luigi’s opened, I had concerns. Over time, I’ve let their food convince me what type of restaurant they are, and it has convinced me that it is as good as the old Pulcinella’s, if not better. The pizza is well-made and authentic NY-style. The pasta is fantastic, with well-seasoned sauces and noodles. The sandwiches are about the only knock for the food, because for some reason, the cheese just has never worked with the rest of the sandwich for me. Maybe it’s just me, tho. Fortunately, they have a well-supplied salad bar with good, cold ingredients that haven’t sat up under a heat lamp for hours on end. The restaurant is clean, front and back. I like the fact that you can look back into the kitchen as your food is made, and that said kitchen is very clean. The staff are extremely friendly — especially the owners/operators who are some of the nicest restaurant owners in the area. The only big problem is that the restaurant is both small and popular, which means seats get snapped up very quickly, which means you may be waiting a while. In conclusion, Luigi’s is a great restaurant. It needs more space, but it’s a great experience I highly recommend.

Best pizza in NC. Everything is fresh, and authentic. If you want great Italian you need to eat here. Try the eggpland and ravioli, you won’t be sorry.

I just love the Eggplant. The pizza is to die for. By far the best italian restaurant ive been to in North Carolina. The salad bar is awesome, all fresh crisp and constantly refreshed. Love this place. The owners are great.

Talk about cutting your nose off despite your face. Tonight I ordered a Luigi’s Special and XL Cheese to go. When I got home we realized the XL Cheese bottom was burned as well as tasting burned, it was as black as could be. I called and the owner agreed to make another, so I drove back to the restaurant. When I returned I asked if he would like to take any money off the pizza he replied«NO, I had to make another pizza» as if it were my fault. We normally eat here about twice a month on average but tonight will be our last. I have spent hundreds of dollars over the years and he wasn’t willing to make things right, really!

Great lunch specials for $ 4.75 ! For that price you can get pasta + salad. They had a great salad bar and I ended up getting the lasagna. The lasagna was delicious but I think it was mostly the sauce that made it good. The pasta was not your traditional lasagna pasta it was smaller in terms of width so I felt like I was just eating spaghetti but I could have cared less since the sauce was great. Overall this is a great price for lunch…

My husband and I ate dinner at Luigi’s for the first time tonight and we can’t wait to go back… nothing fancy but the food is homemade and delicious, prices are very reasonable, restaurant is clean, couldn’t ask for more. The owner brought our food out and was so nice when leaving we complimented her she blushed… she prepares all the food herself.

Food decent, waitress friendly, but odd interaction with manager or owner. We ordered thin and thick crust pizza. Both were good, nothing special, but cheese pizza rarely is! The lasagna was good, but I found it to be lacking in filling. It was mostly sauce and pasta. The bread was very good, some of the best I have had. You can’t beat the lunch deal which included a salad from the bar. They give you a large plate for the salad and have a variety of items to put on your lettuce. All was well until I went to pay. I was not told to pay at the register and waited quite some time to pay the waitress who did not come back after she left the bill. When I went to pay, I assumed the man who rung my order was the manager or owner. He rung up several items and overcharged me. He seemed surprised and defensive when I questioned it. I explained that we had three items, what they were and what the total would be. After going back and forth with me as I pointed out the menu prices to him, he finally got within .50 of the correct total and I gave him my coupon at which point he seemed to blow off the fact that he was still overcharging me. He was rather rude about the situation and because of this, I don’t expect that I would go back. You might want to check your bill and ask for a receipt if you visit!

For $ 4.50 at lunch you get a choice of several different pastas with meat sauce or marinara and a one trip salad bar. It’s not the greatest salad bar in the world but it is well worth the price. Best lunch deal anywhere! Also, the pizza and sandwiches(also good sandwich deals at lunch) are great. Especially the loaded Steak and Cheese!

Had lunch here today with the bride. She got spaghetti with mushrooms and I had the tour of Italy. Both were very nice. There was enough left over for another couple to have for supper, they enjoyed it as well. Service was excellent, even got extra bread to take home at no additional charge, even though I asked to pay for it. Bread is out of this world, some of the best I have ever had. Salad bar was small, but had everything that you could ask for. I have no idea where they get tomatoes like that in February, but I would like to know, they were great, fantastic Ranch dressing as well. We’ll be back.
