Food was good but it was a VERY tiny burger, filled about ½ of the bun. We made the mistake of asking the manager to change the channel on a TV near us and she was extremely rude, refusing to do it. She did however make a big deal that the game we wanted to watch was on a 27 inch tv across the restaurant. The waitress was so nice that I felt bad she worked in such a hostile environment. There is no data reception inside the bar and the manager refused to give the password to their wifi, so I had to leave the restaurant just to write this review. I won’t go back, which is a shame because I hear it used to have fantastic service and food.

We have always had good food at Gobbler’s Roost. The burgers are great, the broasted chicken is top notch, and the weekend prime rib is not to be missed.

I personally had a wonderful experience here. It is a small town, friendly bar and grill with daily specials. Friendly service and a full crowd on a Wednesday summer night. As small town restaurants go, this one is a must to experience.
