Absolutely horrible. I don’t trust the cleanliness of the kitchen or the safety of the food. I don’t think they ever clean the beer lines either. The Piasa pub across the street is so much better.

Terrible! Horrible service and food, completely changed the menu. Just a bunch of processed crap. I’ve had a better meal at Pizza Hut. I hope this place goes under and someone with pride buys it. What happened to taking pride in what you do. The workers did not even have uniform T-shirts, and one of them clearly needed to retire hid stained jean pants that would have been shorts if it was not for the last thread holding them together. If you have given up just sell the place and move on. Just sad.

We spent most of our evening at Crazy Beaver. The drinks were very reasonably priced, the bartender was great. We ordered pizza and it was delicious! Not only was the staff nice but the locals were awesome too. We met some very nice people. This is a small place with a good, comfortable atmosphere. We will definitely go back!

I wish I could review somewhere as 0 stars, because this place deserves it. Never before have I had service this bad without a proper apology. It was an absolutely horrible experience and it ruined a pleasant trip up to Grafton. Stay well clear of this establishment. Came in and sat at a table. After a few attempts finally got a server to notice us. Ordered pizza and cider. Cider came right out, pizza was going to be «about 30 minutes». 30 minutes goes by, 20 more go by. Still no pizza, and our server keeps walking by as if we don’t exist. Another server notices we have been waiting a while, but doesn’t do anything about it. Finally I loudly holler at our server to inquire about the pizza because it has now been a very long time. «oh has it been that long? Let me check.» She comes back to say it’s going to be 25 more minutes in a very fake way. It felt like she just put the order in. I asked how long it takes to cook a pizza, or why everyone else had been served so much faster. She tries telling me that it’s crowded, when in fact there aren’t many people there. I was planning on this meal taking normal time, but didn’t have 90 minutes to wait for food. Asked for a check and left. Servers were still very inconsiderate and tried to act like they did nothing wrong. I was very frustrated. Ten minutes later I called in asking to speak to a manager. The manager listens a little, offers a very weak apology, «sorry about that we just had a large group». As I continue to talk with him, he HANGSUP. Unbelievable. Worst service ever; plus they can’t recognize a mistake, tell the truth, or take feedback.

I love the location in Grafton of this place, the view of the river on a great day. Upper deck is the best place here to sit and have a meal. We brought a big group here last weekend and enjoyed it. We all tried the pizza and I would recommend it, Pretty much the menu is bar food its a good variety to choose from. This place is great on a warm day to visit and relax with the views of the river! Also this place is dog friendly when you do outdoor seating.

Hope you like salt! This place OVER salts everything it seems. Ordered the fried pickles, they were covered in salt. Pickles don’t need to be salted, they already have salty taste to them. A simple sprinkle of pepper or dill would have been nice on the fried pickles– not a box of salt poured on top. A friend ordered the garlic bread– also salty with a weird aftertaste. Perhaps the aftertaste was because they used margarine instead of butter or olive oil? I don’t know, it was weird. We all shared the pizza special of the day: margarita. SALTY! And again the weird aftertaste. And GREASY! Salty, greasy, weird aftertaste. There were some nice things about this place: 1. Outdoor seating was comfortable 2. We brought our dog, server brought him a water bowl when asked 3. Server was attentive and nice Other reviews seem to rave about the pizza so maybe the kitchen was having an off day but we aren’t willing to brave it again.

Pretty good pizza. Especially considering its small town pizza. Pizza was baked in a brick oven and has a nice char on it. If i had to be picky i would say the crust could have been crispier for how much char was on it and the tomato sauce had was to seasoned to heavy but still overall it was very good. Also much enjoyed the balcony area.

Invited by friends to check this place out. My friend is from Chicago and always says he can’t find Chicago style pizza in the STL area that he likes. He really liked it and this is a person critical of his Chicago Pizza. He even told the owner he will be coming back!!! Tons of cheese — sauce good –toppings good — waitress and service excellent. Atmosphere excellent. Will return.

So many amazing menu items to recommend. Start with the fried pickles and mozzarella sticks. Everything is made by hand with love by the Crazy Beavers themselves! If you are there on a Friday, you MUST try the deep dish pizza!!! It is so worth the wait! Another favorite is the Hawg Pit pizza, Bacony goodness!!! Excellent beer selection with rotating styles help each member of your party find something tasty!!!

Let me first start off this review by saying I have worked in the restaurant industry for 16 years, and to leave a bad review is something I have never done before. Over the weekend my party and I decided to get a take out order of two large pizzas from this establishment. They told us to come and pick the pizzas up in 45 minutes. When they arrived my party sat and waited another 45 minutes, an hour and a half in total. When they asked about the order the bartender began yelling at them, and screaming that there was a party of 30 upstairs, all while the owner was sitting behind them letting this all happen. An apology and an explanation that they were overwhelmed would have been sufficient. I was very disappointed with the extremely poor customer service, and will not only be not recommending this establishment, but warn you away from it!!!

Very unprofessional, poor customer service by everyone, including the owner. They were unable to handle a crowded Saturday night and instead of apologizing for being busy and overwhelmed, the employees yelled at us, after we waited over an hour and a half for our 2 carryout pizza’s.

I’m not usually a pizza person but this pizza is amazing! The sauce is homemade and the perfect blend of spices, the crust is not too thick, not too thin. The apps are all fabulous but be sure to try the fried pickles. The cornmeal breading is to die for! The beer selection is great, the ambiance is cozy… it’s the perfect pit stop after a drive down the River Road.
