I always make it a priority to hit up Woolly Notions whenever I’m in Graeagle (sadly, not as often as I would like). Great yarn store! They still carry an ample variety of yarn brands and types. They carry some spinning fiber as well as looms for you weavers out there. Prices are competitive, no complaints here on that front! I definitely recommend stopping in if you happen to be in the area.

Wooly Notions is not your typical knitting and yarn store. The owner, Victoria, stocks her shelves with a wide variety of interesting and updated yarns and pattern books and samples of projects. Not only that she is very helpful to those of us who are not as talented of knitters. Always seems to be able to figure out mistakes. A great place to hang out any time of year.

Great store in downtown Graeagle! They offer classes in knitting, crocheting and a few others (I’m new to the store and am still learning what else they offer.) Beautiful gifts incliding ‘art glass,’ rustic bird houses, candles and jewelry: all made by folks living in the area. Most of the store has many choices of beautiful yarn.
