Best pizza in Goshen by far is why it gets the five star rating. It’s a unique pizzeria in that the sauce tastes home-made, the ingredients are far better than the standard pizza joints up here. I order the pizza crispy and it typically comes out perfect, sometimes it can come out under-done if you don’t order it crispy or well. It’s not the cheapest option, but it’s very good, and the best in the Hudson Valley IMO.

Glad we found this shop. We had a great pie, which was cooked perfectly. Sal was very friendly and had our food out very quickly. Next time we are up this way we will be back.

my new favorite place to go to for a pizza! I like their regular slice or the sicillian too but my favorite is the white pizza! I don’t know what he puts in the sauce but it’s just so good that you can’t just stop with one slice.

Charming little pizza place a few minutes off of the highway. The owner is a friendly guy… and was more than willing to make a custom half portion of spaghetti and meatballs for my five year old. Sauce and crust are surprisingly good for being this far out of the city. Cash only, but there’s an ATM inside.

We get pizza from Village about two or three times a month. Today I had my three very young children with me heading home from the pediatrician. While placing the order, I asked if they would mind bringing the pizza out to the car so I wouldn’t have to bring all three kids in and go through the hassle. They said no problem. When I pulled up, he brought the pizza right out. It was a $ 14 order, so I handed him a $ 20 and asked him to keep the change. He handed me the change back and said he has several kids and knows what it’s like. There’s something to be said for good customer service, good food, and good neighbors. We’ve been going here since we moved to Goshen a year ago, and we will continue to do so.

For those poor souls that think awful corporate pizza from chain stores is good this might not make sense. Sal makes authentic Brooklyn/Staten Island style pizza with thin, crispy light as a cloud crust, great sauce and a perfect blend of cheese and spices.. This friendly small town restaurant makes the best pizza in the county and simple, wonderful food. The chicken parm and his meatballs are not to be missed. Sal and his staff are friendly, helpful and always glad to see you. Note before going, Village Pizza is cash only.

Delicious pizza, best in the area. Crispy, thin crust, tangy sauce with a bit of a kick, and gooey cheese; the quintessential NY slice.

The pizza is ok. Saucy, which I like and decent cheese. But the crust is very dry and bland. Brush some olive oil on it or something. Also, they don’t take credit cards. And they ain’t nearly good enough to get away with that kinda nonsense.

Village pizza is my go-to pizza spot when working in the Goshen area. The owner, Sal, is very personable and loves interacting with his customers. He also makes a killer pie. Village’s slices, I think, have more sauce than traditional pies, but I love that. I also think Sal produces some of the best dough within a 10-mile radius. No matter what time of the day you go, whether the slice is fresh or heated to order, the crust is never too chewy, and never too tough. Speaking of fresh or heated to order, my FAVORITE part about Village Pizzeria is that Sal never bothers with having dozens of pies and combinations for customers to choose from. Usually, he’ll have a sicilian, a specialty, and a plain. That’s it. The result, is that the pies are always fresh. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve walked right as Sal is cutting up a fresh cheese pie. My mouth is watering just thinking of it. When Sal isn’t making the pizza, sometimes there is inconsistency in the shape and appearance, and(regrettably) taste of the pie, so if you’re in the mood for a slice, look for the old bald Italian man, walk in, and grab one. Or, do what I do, and order two with a can of soda for $ 5.

My favorite in this area, a good classic utility pizza. Great sauce, decent cheese, perfect utility crust. Could it be better? Of course. Still worth a 5/5, since it always makes me happy. The location is a pain, but totally worth it.

2nd best in Orange County behind Colandreas in Middletown. I lived in goshen for a few years and came here many many times and ate. Pizza reg &sicilan are awesome! Their food is great too especially their meatballs and pasta! The pizzeria in the CVS plaza in goshen is horrid i think though I DONT recommend that place.

I felt compelled to write my first Unilocal because I believe some of the other reviews for Village are off. I’ve worked in and around NYC my entire professional career and tried many different pizzas — favorites are Arturo’s, John’s on Bleeker, and L’asso — and I think Village makes a solid pie. The crispy crust is the stand-out that keeps us coming back. We even go so far as to order«well done» as a little reminder during peak hours when a pie might occasionally slip through slightly less than perfect(but still good). Definitely the best in Goshen and deserves a local five stars.

Another Goshen Pizzeria, another meh… This is the best one so far of all the area pizza shops that we have tried. As fellow Unilocaler Justin L. pointed out, that isn’t saying much. Ordered a large cheese pie, this place has the looks of a real pizzaria. The Pie seemed like it was a little short on cheese and the sauce wasn’t the tastiest either. The crust was well done but that’s about it. I would give some other dishes a try, the old Italian guy doing the cooking looks like he should be able to churn out some tasty eats.

This is probably the best pizza option in Goshen, but that isn’t saying much. The ingredients they use aren’t bad and they’re fairly quick/convenient, the problem here is consistency. Sometimes the pies are good, sometimes they can be a soggy and a mess. In general the pies are a bit lacking in flavor as well, but I’d still put this on par with a typical corner pizzeria in NY. Especially considering the pitful competition up here(let alone Goshen), this place is alright for a quick slice.

This pizza is excellent. Thin crust and savory cheese. The sicilian is awsome as well. Sal has been a goshen fixture for almost 30 years for a good reason — he simply makes the best Pizza around Try some of his other menu items — all good…
