This library is small but mighty. There is a fine selection of popular, current books as well as random titles you never knew you wanted to read before. Anything it doesn’t have for it’s lack of space can usually be found on the Connecticut Inter-Library loan system. The librarians(or the formal book depositorians) are all very friendly, willing to help, and organize some fun activities. Right now there’s a month long contest to «blind date» a book(select a wrapped book only by a brief description and complete a review to enter), and there’s an almost year long contest to read thirty books from forty different categories. Categories include your parent’s favorite book, a thriller, and that book you were actually supposed to read in school. Goshen residents should follow the library on Facebook — events are frequent and varied. It was a lot of fun to meet Laura Bradford, author of Amish cozy mysteries, at the end of last year!
