Gerace’s Pizzeria

Strictly talking pizza here as I haven’t had anything else from these guys. This is right up there with Venturi in terms of quality. Fresh ingredients make all the difference. The crust is superb. Cheese is thick and gooey. This is what fresh pizza should taste like. There is a wide variety of topping options and they also have many sizes available so they can accommodate all appetites. I’d really like to try a super thin crust pizza from these guys but their hand tossed dough makes one of the finest pizzas I have ever had. Whenever we are in Goshen we typical try to order pizza from Gerace’s.

We won’t return. Pizza was ok but certainly not worthy of the price they charge. Breadsticks tasted like any we could find in the frozen section of the local grocery store.

Waitress was acting weird. Just stood at our table when she came to take our order. So, I told her what we wanted. When I asked for water she said they had bottled water and tap water, but they have no ice. You’ve got to be kidding me! So, we took the warm tap water because I wasn’t about to play into their little money making scheme. So, that smacked of low budget right off the bat. The menu stated 35 – 55 minutes for a pizza, depending on business. Pizza actually took 30 minutes, but it wasn’t what we ordered. They made it right by making us the correct pizza. We ate the first because nothing was really objectionable and we had someplace to be. In a positive note, the pizza was very good! So, I guess if you just want a good pizza, and you can handle dealing with the poor service, this is your place. I would say the 5 star ratings are very deceiving. One last thing, be prepared for paper plates. That’s the caliber of this establishment.

Fresh meats and fresh ingredients, many of which are brought in weekly from Chicago for authentic Italian flavor. Local organic produce and meats are also part of the fare. Tony brings the best of Italy to Goshen.

Best pizza place around!!! Pretty much everything is homemade and fresh which sets this place apart from all others, especially the chains. The prices are reasonable for the quality of food you get and you will definitely need a «to go» box. If you haven’t been here, get here!

We were refer by coworker to try their pizza… Let me tell how glad I’m we did… We called to place an order and was told time for pick up. When in 5 min early and my order was coming out of the oven…
We had the meat lover and mushrooms pizzas they were full of taste… I wanted to keep enjoying but I was full by the third slide… For sure we’ll be back for more.

The best pizza place in town! The sauce the is boss. Salads are HUGE! You just can’t beat this place. And Tony will treat you like an Italian, family style.

Pretty good pizza, fresh ingredients. Crust seems to be hand tossed. They go from 10″ all the way up to a gigantic 24″ pizza.
