The pulled pork was out of this world!!! Absolutely blew my mind. The portions were perfect for me, I didn’t over eat, just right. Some might think they are small though. I thought the sides were exceptionally average and nothing to write home about. But I will definitely be going back because of that pulled pork(and some new sides). Oh and it’s super affordable!!!

We had Dana J cater our wedding reception on July 4th. The reception was small with less than 30 people and was at my mothers house. They did a fabulous job and everyone loved the food. My bride and I live in SC and asked them to cook a Charleston fave, shrimp and grits. Of course, everyone knows that nobody cooks this in Goshen, IN. Dana said he was up for it and he delivered. To make sure he had it right, he practiced prior to the big day. They also had to peel 10lbs of shrimp, which is no fun. Also cooked asparagus, hashbrowns, quiche, bacon, etc had great apps of yogurt pargait and lox and bagel. We could not have been happier. They were a little overwhelmed and ran out of OJ and the were a little bit behind on the table service, but noone cared considering how good everything was. Oh yeah, their price was more than reasonable too.

Dana J has some dishes I prefer more than others, but all in all good food. The customer service here is awesome. A few weeks ago, we had an unexpected death in the family. Unknowingly, I called 10 minutes before close for a carry out order for all of the out of town family I’d be soon expecting. They whipped me up a freshly made dinner complete with multiple options for main dish and sides within the hour. Fresh layered salad and dessert where picked up too to serve the 20+ drop in guests I acquired. That stressful time was less so because of Dana J’s. Thanks!

Don’t come here unless you like your food to taste plain as hell. I ordered the Little Italy sandwich and it was really bland(unlike any other Italian sandwich I’ve had anywhere else). The bread was also cold and chewy. We also ordered the baked custard — also bland and a little too ‘eggy’ — it was a little gross. My husband and I took 2 bites and threw the rest away. My 1 year old daughter wouldn’t even touch it. I highly recommend not going here. A sandwich across the street at Krogers would probably taste a little better and I might not have been so upset about spending my money at Dana J’s.
