A friend found this location for a group outing. Located in Gore, OK, about an hour outside of Tulsa, they offer a «camping» experience for those who want to take a more casual approach. The 12 cabins all appear small on the outside, but are actually spacious inside. In ours we had a king sized bed, to chairs and a table, with enough room for the baby’s pack and play and were still left with enough room for the little one to run around and entertain himself. They have a raised court yard with two fire pits and two outdoor kitchens, one with a smoker, the other with a charcoal grill and pizza oven. The owners are very friendly and accommodating, leaving keys in the cabins for those in our group arriving late. Activities available include walking on a small trail, browsing around the pond and kayaking when the weather is agreeable. They are also located about 5 minutes way from the dam. It worked out that the weather was great for a November outing. Cabins are have a large unit to handle heating and cooling, but if the weather was any colder, the trip wouldn’t have been as enjoyable because the only method of preparing food is in the out door kitchen. Our time there was very relaxing and we plan on returning.
