Lake Prince Farm

Lake Prince Farm is owned by Bill Shiflet and is located less than two hours from the Washington, DC metro area. After searching for a farm where I could take saddleseat lessons for more than a year, I finally found Bill. He is a fantastic trainer that breeds and trains American Saddlebreds but also works with Morgans, Hackney Ponies, etc. In particular, he is extremely skilled at training horses from a young age and developing them into showstoppers in various class divisions including Country Pleasure, Show Pleasure, 3 Gaited, 5 Gaited, etc. His lesson prices are very reasonable and he always has a variety of top-​notch horses for sale.
