The experience my bf and I had here was small & individualized – we got to talk to one of the owners and learn the history of the brewery. Setting — it’s a converted gas station and we almost rode right passed it on our bikes. They are slowly working on the décor/look since opening in Nov 2013. Lots of work is still being done on the place. It’s small and cozy and definitely not perfect yet. There is a truly laid back atmosphere to the place. It’s a solid hole-in-the-wall brewery for local beer. Good for an experience, but not necessarily a date type location or night on the town, yet. There’s a focus on developing good beer and community relationships, rather than a large-scale operation. Our favorites during the visit were their Nut Brown and their mead. If you’re near the area, it’s worth checking out and trying out their beer. Oh and they also have soda available if you’ve got kiddos with you.(root beer, orange and 1 – 2 more flavors… I don’t remember since I was focused on the beer!). Plus they do take credit cards and have growlers, shirts and hats available for purchase.
