Authentic Italian food! Everything is house made. The sauce was a little salty for my liking, I prefer a little sweeter, but my husband who is Italian loved it!

The food and waitstaff is outstanding. The breadsticks are delicious. They have the BEST baby back ribs I have ever tasted, the meat just falls off the bone.

I’ve lived in the area throughout my childhood and have never been here. Decided to stop here before visiting family… The atmosphere is very Italian and has that small town feel to it. The pictures on the walls of the babies & family members is cute and charming. Makes you feel like you would see a lot of regulars on a Friday night here :) Everything here is fresh & homemade from the coleslaw to the sauces and everything in between. The breadsticks are delicious and perfectly seasoned with the right amount of cheese on top. We got a pizza and ribs and boy, the ribs are really fall off the bone good. It was coated with a delicious sauce and not sloppy or over sauced. The pizza was crispy and not over sauced or slacked on toppings. The crust had a great crunch to it and not thick. Two great dishes we enjoyed. The waitress was so pleasant and nice. She laughed with us and was attentive. :) We really really enjoyed it here!!! I will have to keep this place in mind next time I’m near by!

Wow! That was the collective reaction to eating here for the first time. The breadsticks and pizza are divine. Crispy crust and fluffy interior. The meat lover’s pizza is jam packed with meat and it’s NOT greasy like other places. The ribs? Fall off the bone tender. You don’t need the awesome sauce because the meat is so flavorful. Lasagna? Nice bright tomato flavor in the sauce. Soups? Pasta fagioli and cream of broccoli were tasty and filling. Yummy.

Very good service, fast and friendly. Had the breadsticks with sauces. Warm sticks crispy outside soft inside. The Stromboli was wonderful, more than enough for an adult man to eat. Wife had chicken tenders with freshly cut fries. Food was fresh and very tasty. Definitely will come ack to try other dishes.

Breadsticks were amazing! I believe they are made to order. The pizza had a nice garlic touch. The country Christmas cocktail menu was delicious. Lots of sprinkles, mint, whipped cream egg nog… The french fries reminded me of Cedar Pointe — yum — Summer!!! The server was amazingly sweet, attentive, etc. The entire space is sparkling clean with country charm. A hidden gem in Goodrich!

I’ve lived in this area for years but never got around to trying John’s until my friend bought a deal from LivingSocial. We came in on a Wednesday evening and it was pretty busy, but the service was great. Our waitress was nice, prompt, and when we paid the bill we were asked how our dinner was. Sadly, I was not too impressed with the food. We ordered a pizza, bread sticks, and fried zucchini sticks. Bread sticks were the first to arrive at the table, and they were quite good. I would have really liked a marinara sauce instead of cream cheese for the dipping sauce, and would ask for it next time. Zucchini fries came next — nothing fancy, probably bought frozen in bulk and threw them into a deep fryer. Taste was good and the dipping sauce was also yummy, but too greasy and«meh» to make the cut for a future order. Then, the main dish — the pizza! Since pizzeria is part of the name here, I was expecting a decent pie. Looked great when it was set on the table, and it was piping hot fresh-from-the-oven. So far so good. And then the first bite: a mouthful of rubbery cheese and disappointment. The moz(which there seemed to be waaaaay too much of?) was chewy and flavorless. Though I enjoy cheese more than the average person, I maybe could’ve lived with that, had it been the only discretion. But the total lack of sauce? Not really acceptable. After telling friends about the unsatisfactory pizza, they recommended any future order should be a sandwich. The A-Train is supposed to be a solid menu item, and I’d be game to give it a try, since I really like supporting local eateries. In sum, great service, good location, but not sold on that pizzeria business.
