Dairy Queen

We drive 10 miles to come to this DQ ALWAYS Great service. Some how they messed up my order, I called to let them know and they took GREAT care of me. Thank you Josh.

We pulled up at 9:17pm on a Wednesday night. We thought they might’ve been closed because the lights look like were off. We googled to see if we could find the hours listed online and the weren’t. We then saw the hours listed on the door, 10pm was closing time. GREAT. We can get blizzards! We pulled up to the drive thru talk box and a man came across the speaker and said «I’m sorry, but our ice cream machine is down. We can do novelty items, but that’s all. It just broke ten minutes ago.» Ummm, okay. He didn’t mention anything about hot food, so I guess the grill and the fryer was broken too. In my experience, a DQ usually has a least 2, if not 3 ice cream machines, because when one goes on defrost, you have another to use. I guess they wanted to close an hour early. We instead stopped at Sonic for ½ priced milkshakes up the street.

Always friendly when I’ve been here. Small location, strange parking layout. Well, not strange I guess just really small! Good service though and that’s what matters most to me. Good had always been fresh too :)
