Great food. Great specials. Great atmosphere. Great drinks. Very fun and entertaining hibachi chefs. Wait staff was prompt and friendly. Portion sizes with hibachi are satisfying. Great place to get together with friends. Would definitely recommend.

Half price Monday and Tuesday?! Yassssssss. I want all the fishes. On my first visit I had the chicken lettuce wraps from the app menu and spicy tuna rolls. It was delicious and only seven bucks or so. And I really appreciated that the roll wasn’t 60% rice like most places on discount night! My second visit was for a reasonably priced hibachi steak lunch. That dressing on the salad bar is straight up CRACK! Everything about the visit was perfect– the service performance, food and the Price were spot on. Keep doing your thing, Kabuto. You’re my new Goodlettsville sushi spot.

I visit a few times per month for their ½ price sushi/appetizer specials on Mon & Ties nights. They have wonderful sushi, excellent prices, and the hibachi grill is great!

We come here ¾ times a month. It’s incredible. The golden lobster app is insanely good !!! Ask them to make spicy barbecue sauce on the grill !

My children, grandchildren and I dine here often. I have eaten at Japanese steak houses all over the country. This is by far my favorite. The food is delicious and the chefs are always fun. Plus, you get a lot of food. If you eat here once, I bet you’ll be back.

This is the first time since I was a kid that I’ve done this type of restaurant experience. I went with a group of 14. They split the group up next to each other. First off, don’t need appetizers. Just order your main dish because included is ginger salad, soup, and than rice, veggies, plus main meal and even noodles. Plenty to eat!!! I ordered the NY strip/medium. I will say, my side got a cook that was only his 3rd day. We ended up laughing and watching the other tables around us. This location was amazingly busy on a Monday night. It was packed in almost every room. They have a lot of tables. Over all it was ok for my experience and I plan to do this again and hopefully get someone who engages more, talks, makes us laugh more. Our cook wasn’t very engaging and not very creative. Again I was watching more the other tables to see what they were doing. But watching our food being cooked was fun and eating it was good too. I def. want to try it again to see the difference of a experienced cook.

The food isn’t bad but the service is horrible.(At least in the sushi bar). Twice we have walked out because we sat at the table for well over 15 minutes and were not acknowledged, not asked for our drink order… nothing. Tonight they were not busy so we thought we would give it a go. Bad idea… after about 10 minutes. I found the server and asked if we could order. Sapporo on Gallatin has equally good food and way better service.(if you only want sushi)

We came right when it opened on a Sunday but that place filled in quick! It’s a hibachi restaurant and it’s the best one in Hendersonville/Goodlettsville(it’s one of the best in Nashville area actually!) Our server was attentive but our hibachi chef made the experience really great. His name was Raegan(sp?!). We sat with a family that’s been there since their kids were born and the kids just adore him. Their food is great! It gets really busy so make sure you get there early. They have a salad bar too that comes with your meal so that was cool. Definitely will be coming back here!

I was in a sushi mood one weekend and so I had it at two different places in two days. Sorry, not sorry. But I’m weird in the fact that I’m not really a fan of raw fish, so I guess take my opinion with a grain of salt if you’re a hardcore sushi fanatic. This place is a typical hibachi style restaurant, and my brother and I came here a couple Saturdays ago around 5:30 so it wasn’t too busy yet. Although by the time we left, there were people circling the parking lot waiting for a place to park. But most people were waiting for the hibachi tables, the sushi area where we were wasn’t hardly busy at all. We started out with the crab rangoon, which was not too bad. Then I got the shrimp tempura roll and the Mexican roll, which had like avocado and crab and some spicy sauce. The shrimp tempura roll was just good, but the Mexican roll was great. I liked the spiciness of it, and I’m not a huge fan of spicy foods so it wasn’t over the top. Then my brother and I split the Tennessee roll, which is deep fried, and that was pretty good too. I’m still trying to find a place down here that’s comparable to a really good sushi place I had back home in Illinois. This is a pretty decent place if you’re in the mood for sushi(or hibachi for that matter) and is reasonably priced. Would recommend if you don’t really have any better options.

Eat here often when I’m in town! Have never had a bad meal here. Typically have the teriyaki chicken, always tender and tasty. Veggies are always good. Fried rice, egg rolls, California roll and salad always spot on!!!

Dissatisfied. I went on a Tuesday around 4:30, I went the seating area(to the right), not the other area(to the left). No one was in there except a waitress(who was very friendly) and a bartender. It obviously got busier as I sat there. There were a few times I think she forgot about me, but to her defense, they only only had one waitress. The two stars is for the following. The place was old, seats were torn, bathrooms a mess, soap dispensers falling off. I mean, if a restaurant any keep the area the customer sees clean, can they keep the area the customer DOESN’T see clean(the kitchen) — I don’t know. This reason removed 1 star. The other two were as follows: 1. The ran out of what I wanted. :(sure, it happens, ok. So I ordered the Bang Bang Shrimp. 2. The Bang Bang shrimp. Not sure if it is a legal term for a specific kind of food, but Bonefish Grille has BangBang shrimp for $ 10 and you get atl east 25 pieces of shrimp swimming in a fantastic sauce. Now obviously I am not here to rate Bonefish, but his place charged $ 7 and you got 7 pieces of shrimp. The bang sauce was extremely watered down, with a puddle in the bottom of the bowl. The picture attached shows the appetizer in question. 3. Weirdly, they had no hot water when washing your hands. No idea why, but there seemed to be a running joke from the patrons of the men’s room that night. All in all, staff was very friendly, the food tasted good for the most part. I really liked the high backs in the booths, just wish they were updated.

This is by far the best Japanese habachi grill in the area. The consistency here is what really sets this place apart. We have been regulars here for years and remember why when ever we go to a different Japanese habachi grill. The food is awesome and the customer service is good as well.

Delicious food! Dinner(4pm and after) portions are huge at the hibachi grill! They’re also super nice to their pregnant customers! Sent me home with an extra salad and extra veggies. :)

Not that good and was very disappointed. High high high salt and everything tasted the same. Shrimp… chicken…steak…It all tasted the same.

I have been going to this place since it opened. And every time I go it gets worse and worse. The food amount has went drastically down. They don’t do the shrimp appetizer any more. And the more i go the more and more we feel rushed through dinner.

I have good & bad news. The GOOD news is that the food was absolutely delicious. The BAD news is that our overall experience was only 3 stars. We arrived at a non-busy time(2:00pm) for a late lunch, we were seated quickly but it took FOR-E-VER(45 min) for our food to arrive and it wasn’t even a difficult order.

This is a great standard hibachi restaurant. Recommend the sushi bar area. Awesome lunch.

Have patience as it takes a while to be seated, even with a reservation. It took even longer to receive green tea. We were never asked about dessert either. That being said, the chef was good and the food was tasty.

Yummy! This place is great. The sushi was fresh and delicious, I had the rainbow roll and I really enjoyed it. I also had the miso soup and egg rolls. They were decent. I ordered the hibachi filet for lunch and it was a decent portion for 12 bucks. The filet was very juicy and tender but lacking in the flavor dept. I doused mine in the ginger sauce. I went back the same weekend and had the hibachi scallops and filet. Prices go up for dinner of course but the portion size in comparison to the lunch for the price was underwhelming. $ 75 for two hibachi dinners and a rainbow roll. A bit on the pricey side, I mean it was good but I have had better.
