The only reason I am giving lowes two stars is because they had my product in stock and the cashier was super friendly. I went in to buy a VERY expensive fire pit for my mother-in-law for Christmas. Not only was there no one near that section but customer service could not/would not get someone for me. After searching all the aisles, I found the pit. I checked out– which was seamless. I asked for a gift receipt and she sent my back to customer service. They had the gift receipt printed on a piece of computer paper. I was okay with that until she started to black out someone else’s name and information off my receipt. They said that’s all they have. It looked awful! Totally unhappy that they were not able to present a «typical» gift receipt. The lady gave me attitude like I was asking for too much. It is Christmas time and this is something pretty ordinary to ask for with such an expensive gift… Not going back unless my roof caved in!

I usually choose this Home Improvement store over the other one on the other side of town because of both location and can usually find what I am looking for more often. I was able to find my laundry list of items easily and they were available. I had a few employees offer assistance and were friendly. The only negative was at checkout in the Garden Center… apparently this employee wasn’t thrilled about getting out of bed that morning and was as friendly as the business end of some of the cacti they sold… prickly and sharp! Nothing blatantly rude… just could tell this employee had better things to do with their time than show up to work, smile, and interact with customers.
