Grand Wall Chinese Super Buffet

Terrible parking lot. Not clean. Food is good though. Last time I went, my friend accidentally got powered sugar on the floor. The «waitress» started yelling at her and saying how it’s going to be hard to clean it up. It was an accident and my friend apologized and offered to help clean. Haven’t been back Since.

Food here is terrible and the building is dirty. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Had to change my review of this place. I thought it was good. When I got home I became so I’ll from all of this food! Yuck!

Good sized buffet, but ½ the food was cold. Had to repeatedly ask for refills, but as soon as the plate was empty server rushed over to get that. Egg rolls taste like frozen prepackaged kind. My wife said she will not be comming back, so I doubt I will either.

I went here with a friend and ended up getting sick. Food was cold, end of night issues. We went in at about 8:45. About 15 minutes later people were starting to close up restaurant. The owner was rude he didn’t let us know they were closing early. We had 3 full plates and hadn’t even eaten and they were sending us out the door. We asked if we could take our food and they said no. The only thing i had eaten was crab and I ended up in the bathroom 10 times. Overall never ever going back!!!

This buffet used to be really good. Unfortunately it has been going downhill for a while. The food is cold on the hotbar and either overseasoned or underseasoned and the quality of food on the hibachi grill has become poor and lacking in options. Very unfortunate as this place used to be very good and the favorite in Gonzales for Asian cuisine. There are just too many better options out there right now to choose from.

Definitely a one star due to cleanliness. Please look around at the walls, floors and bathrooms. No matter how good the food is, think about the cleanliness. That said, I went with a large group. Good service. Good selection for everyone. This place is very busy and large setting areas so you don’t feel cramped. Inexpensive.

I spent quite a while deliberating on whether I should give this place 2 stars or 3. I eventually decided on 2, but depending on your personal eating preference it could be 3. If you go here, please be a fan of mongolian grill cooking. They have an EXCELLENT mongolian grill, lots of fixings to customize your plate and it’s cooked fresh for you there. That being said, there is nothing else really good here. If they got rid of the rest of the buffet and just had the mongolian grill, I would probably give the place 5 stars. The buffet offerings are all either standard or sub-​standard, basically what you always find in a cheap chinese buffet. I did have some concerns that there were some sysco-​esque frozen chicken fajitas? When did frozen chicken fajitas become chinese? They weren’t all that bad, but still. They have some sushi, not horrible considering where you’re at, but not exactly good fresh stuff. Staff is generally inattentive. Soft serve ice cream is the go-​to dessert, as is always the case for chinese buffets. Don’t touch the styrofoam cake squares. However, in considering this review, please remember that this is in Gonzales — the only chinese buffet for 10 – 15 miles that I am aware of, so it gets pretty packed with locals. In summation: Go for the grill, eat the ice cream for dessert, and you’ll have a decent experience.

I have eaten here many times. The kids love it. It is OK for Chinese buffet. Nothing fantastic but overall good food. If you go when it’s busy the food is good. If it’s not real busy the food gets cold.

Great food. Your typical Chinese restaurant. All you can eat.
