Got there at 7:00 am. Waited 5 minutes for the place to open. When it opened, tables and chairs were stacked everywhere. I came here because of a breakfast burrito review. The person who opened the place said the chef would not arrive until 8:00 am. So, no burrito and it looked liked it was going to be another five minutes before I could get coffee. And the place smelled of chemicals.

I love this place. The coffee was good, but the food is better. I have the breakfast sandwhich with roasted turkey on a croissant. It is connected to Sage and Onion which is AMAZING! The food comes from the same kitchen and I am assuming the same chefs.

Cozy and welcoming. Take your book/iPad/paper or significant other. Coffee is fresh, rich and luxurious. Scones are simply amazing and GIANT! Please share one with your partner. What a great find.

I drop by here on random early mornings, usually righty when they open, to study/read/cram, and manage to get nice customer service from the barista and staff that early. There’s a small lounging area with a few tables and chairs to read the morning paper over a snack and coffee. I swear by the breakfast burritos and always get that with black coffee whenever I’m here. FYI: If you’re here early morning when they open, bakery items usually aren’t available until an hour after.

Good prices for their drinks. This small shop has plenty of seating and decent(5−6MBPS wifi). Coffee is pretty good too. Great iced mocha.

Came in on a Saturday Morning. I ordered a double Latte and a Breakfast Burrito. The latte was extremely hot, couldn’t drink it for another 30 minutes. The breakfast burrito, good price, but took forever. There we’re 3 tables with people in the place. Not packed, but my tiny Burrito took 25+ minutes to come for a togo order. Everyone else in restaurant was pretty pissed at the wait as well. Good food, but the service needs some help.

This place is like Cheers without the bar… or without the alcohol, that is. Robin is an excellent part of this place. She greeted a regular by his first name, wished him a happy birthday and treated him to an iced tea. Their iced coffee really hit the spot as the temperatures continue to soar. Pandora Simon and Garfunkel pipes through this darling establishment. I would never wish for car trouble but know where I will hang when Toyota is taking care of my car. Give it a shot! You won’t be disappointed.

Found this place on Unilocal while waiting for a flight at the airport. The reviews were correct; great coffee, food and friendly service. Don’t be dissuaded because the breakfast menu is small; we had three separate dishes and the all got two thumbs up! I highly recommend this place.

I miss this place already! We visited Santa Barbara for our first time last week and got the pleasure of having breakfast here, what a cute place! The coffee choice was slim as far as light/dark/featured flavor but what they had was still pretty wonderful. We enjoyed the best veggie burritos of our lives! Yum, yum, yum, and the baked goods are perfection! Seriously don’t let the strip mall façade fool you, this place is the perfect little breakfast café!

I love this place. The staff is awesome. They are so sweet and personable. They really try to make you feel welcome. I am in LOVE with their raspberry mocha and their croissant breakfast sandwich. It’s pricey, but so worth it.

This is my go to coffee spot anytime I’m in Goleta. I was first drawn to it because of the cute name and was not disappointed. They usually have at least one choice of gluten free muffin(I would love more variety but understand it’s probably not worth it business wise to make more for such a small shop). They have fun but not bizarre flavors for coffee that most coffee shops don’t carry. I’ve been getting an almond milk latte with Irish cream flavor, and it is surprisingly good. I live in Montecito but have had to spend a lot of time in Goleta lately due to unfortunate car issues, and knowing I can go to XO has been my one consolation. The same barista had been there each time I’ve gone so far, and she is super nice, personable, but not obnoxious which is an important trait in the morning. The inside has a cute atmosphere and is not too busy. The bathrooms are clean and easily accessible(no annoying code to remember or need to ask the barista for a key). Love it here! Ps. Great breakfast burrito! Perfect size if you don’t want leftovers.

Super cute coffee shop next to(& associated with) the Sage & Onion in Goleta, CA. No hemp milk but they do have almond milk! While I didn’t try any of their muffins or egg dishes everything I saw come out when I was waiting for my latte looked amazing. The muffins are made in-house & there was quite a variety including gluten free.

They make great lattes and they had a good selection of breakfast items. We got a strawberry muffin but they had a breakfast too! I’d go here again when I come up to Santa Barbara.

Came here 20 minutes before closing for a quick cup of coffee to go. There was one lady in there on her laptop at a table, but other than that they were empty. After seeing some men in the back hastily glacé at me several times I inquired of the sitting lady if they were still open. She told me to go ask one of the men. After 5 minutes of awkward stares I decided to ask one of them to help me instead of running in the back while I stand in confusion. I was told«the lady who makes the coffee» isn’t here. Way to not even use the term barista… I left. They have a very small menu, 12oz or 16oz are the only size, and very odd customer service. Prices seem average, maybe I’ll try again when a person who makes coffee is on staff.

This place is a hidden gem! I’ve tried their strawberry scone(delicious), their blueberry pancakes(even more delicious), and their beef brisket hash(most delicious thing on earth). Their lattes are amazing too with lots of fluffy foam :) They also have a great selection of teas and gluten free pastries. Perfect place for a coffee date with friends or if you’re looking for a place to study(yay for free wifi!).

I love that everything is sourced locally, and they even use their own custom coffee blends. This place is really cute inside, love the personal touches of the owners. If you want some great home style meals at a reasonable price, make this place your staple. I’m a sucker for good scrambled egg dishes, and throw in awesome pastries… I’m hooked! Staff is friendly and had good suggestions to fit my appetite. Floors and restrooms are clean and new. Décor is homey and comfy. What a great hometown spot. They even do outstanding dinners to-go!

Great place right off the 217 to get a good cup of coffee served with a smile. I love their bacon breakfast burritos and sausage rolls. The atmosphere is vintage modern and the leather armchairs are a throwback to mom and pop coffee shops of the 1990’s. Overall, a very comfy place to hangout solo or with friends.
