Heather did a fantastic job on my hair!
I hadn’t found a stylist I liked since moving to the area. I used the Unilocal reviews for this lead.
The salon is lovely, big, serene & clean.
I asked Heather to «cut off all the crap», she did that & gave me a very cute, stylish cut. My hair looks & feels amazing.

Great haircut and style from Kendra. She does great with short thick hair. Would recommend her and this salon! Store is kept very clean and the modern décor is nice and open.

I tried Shear Artistry on a recommendation from a friend. I have found a jewel in their newest stylist, Hayley. She colored, cut and styled my very short hair. Because of its short length, I didn’t think a whole lot could be done with it. Boy, did Hayley prove me wrong. It is lighter, brighter and definitely trendy. Will I go back?-you couldn’t keep me away. She is one very talented young lady.

I’m new to the area and went to Shear Artistry for a haircut after it was recommended to me. Kendra did a great job on my cowlicky hair, and even recommended a local yoga studio as well! After I told her I’d been having neck pain, she informed me that the salon is running a massage special. which surprised me because when I looked online for massage places in Goleta, Shear Artistry didn’t come up.
After my haircut, I talked to the esthetician, Amy. She gave me a 30 minute massage which was twice as good (and cost half as much) as a massage I got the day before at a spa in Santa Barbara. She got right into the spots of my neck and shoulders that were sore and I felt a lot better afterwards. They need to advertise this service!

Susie and Kendra literally saved my wedding day. I can’t thank them enough! If you are looking for a great place to get your hair and makeup done for a wedding or special event, this is the place!
The salon atmosphere is warm and spacious– and more importantly– these ladies know what they are doing! They are good listeners and know how to make the client feel special!
I made a mistake of using a salon down the road– my hair was horrible and I was «that bride» practically in tears. I randomly called shear artistry and Susie and Kendra were able to squeeze me in under a very tight timeline. they gave me a beautiful up-​do for my wedding and Kendra did a stunning job on my makeup! I am so thankful I found them– I only wish I had gone to them first!!!

Kendra is the stylist I go to almost exclusively, and I love her. She’s great at what she does, and also such a sweetheart. She knows how to give me what I want, but better! I’ll be super bummed to have to find a new stylist again when I move out of town :(

I rarely cut my hair because I am growing it back out again but I needed to even it out since my last haircut was a A-​line bob 6 months ago. I called in the morning and was able to book a same day appointment.
My new hairdresser was a young lady named Kendra Gomez. She is amazing, love her. She knew exactly what I wanted, was super chatty, friendly and enjoyed. She is very knowledgeable in the hair industry, especially for being so young.
The interior was extremely clean and chic. I could have asked for a better situation for a last minute hair appointment. I am ecstatic I found this place.

Shear Artistry did the hair and makeup for my wedding and we were so impressed! Susie, the owner of the salon, did a beautiful job with my hair, and some of the other stylists did nice updos and curls for my bridesmaids and my mom. We also had our makeup done by Shannon and another stylist, who were both great. They did a really good range of subtle to dramatic, depending on what each person wanted. The feel of the salon was very laid back, and we brought in brunch and champagne so we could hang out before the craziness of wedding day set in. The price was extremely reasonable, and Susie even did a trial run of the hair and makeup a few weeks before the wedding day at a discounted rate. This is a great spot to go for your wedding day!

I wish I could this place negative stars. DO NOT GO HERE. the people that work here are rude and will insult you. Koda should be fired and this place should go out of business if that is who you are going to hire.

I needed to change my hairstyle and wanted to try a new hairstylist. I searched various Hair Salons by reading the reviews in Unilocal.I decided to try Kendra of Shear Artistry Salon in Goleta. She welcomed me with a lovely smile and asked me what I wanted done to my hair. Kendra listened and cut my hair with precision. I was very happy with the results and would like to recommend her to my family and friends.

I had a fantastic cut today by Kendra– I was very happy. I have very long, fairly curly, coarse hair and she did a great job– I would definitely recommend her. The prices are very reasonable and worth every penny. I have finally found a new regular place to get my hair done again.

Kendra Gomez did my make up and hair for my engagement party. I loved it. I couldnt imagine anything better. I highly recommend this place.

I have been going to Shear Artistry for years and am always pleased with my cut and style from Tracy. My two daughters also go to Shear Artistry and love there haircuts and color treatments.

I recently moved here from up North and needed to find someone that I could trust with my hair. I took a chance and came here. I went to Kendra and she did a great job! I would definitely recommend her. The salon is also very cute.

My daughter and I just moved here and needed haircuts. We usually just go to Great Clips but decided it was time for a splurge. This was perfect — still reasonably priced but a true salon experience. Shannon was great with my teen daughter and Kendra was great — gave me a wonderful head/​scalp massage and took her time with my cut.
Its a little hard to find the location but other than that, no complaints! We’ll be back!

I just moved to Goleta from Sacramento and I was having trouble finding someone I can trust with my thin haired brows. Low and behold I searched on Unilocal and read great reviews about Clara and how she’s amazing and matches your eyebrow shape to your face! She met all expectations. She’s extremely good at what she does and she has the best personality. I now have a great esthetician to trust my brows with =). Clara is the best, go to her and you won’t regret it.

After moving here from Los Angeles 2 years ago and trying many different waxing professionals, I have finally found an amazing one! Clara is the best in town. Not only does she do a better job than if you went to Beverly Hills, but her prices are more than reasonable.
The wax she uses is top of the line and does not cause breakouts and doesn’t hurt when she ripped it off. In fact, she doesn’t use that paper cloth and instead the wax rips off by itself. She is extremely knowledgeable about the shaping of the brows and even provided me with information on how to keep them up myself. My eyebrows look better than they ever have!
I also had the 30 minute Sea of Life Facial and the next day my skin looked soft and radiant, and I felt amazing for the rest of the week. The price was about ½ of what you would expect to pay.
I highly recommend Clara for her spa services for waxing and facials. I am so glad I finally found my Beverly Hills spa services at an amazing price in Goleta!

This review isn’t for the salon, it’s for the spa. Clara DePaola gives the best spray tans for the best price. I am a spray tanning veteran… I have tried almost every at home formula, gone into mystic booths and stripped naked to get sprayed by a complete stranger. I love being tan. I feel more confident in my own skin and I feel like a bronzed goddess, the only thing is that getting spray tanned can get expensive… Other places charge upwards of $ 60 and the places that do it for cheap just suck and give you horrible advice on taking care of your tan so then the next day it’s ruined.
Clara’s formula got me DARK, but not uncomfortably dark where I couldn’t recognize myself and the formula lasted longer than I expected. I don’t know what it is about my skin, but tans don’t last very long on me. So many places have claimed that it’ll last a week, but it’s a lie. Tans last at most 4 days on me. Clara’s formula lasted about a whole week, which was such a surprise.
Clara had a spray tan special for Valentines Day so I only had to pay $ 23, which was such a steal… but now I will be going to her because now I can get a spray tan anytime I want to without breaking the bank, even if it isn’t $ 23.
I have never been happier.
