Santa Ynez Student Housing

Do NOT live in these apartments. There is a horrible ant infestation everywhere– the kitchen counters, pantry, floors EVERYWHERE, sinks, bathrooms, closets, desks, the list goes on. My roommates and I have created cinnamon borders along the windows, lining the closet entrance, in front of every room to prevent the ants from getting in. We have used multiple ant traps, killed probably thousands by now with windex, AND taped up cracks that they have been slipping through. They still come in but through different areas of the house.
These apartments do not have AC, so we had to buy fans because it gets so hot and humid. They’re pretty nice and spacey apartments compared to most college residences. It’s much quieter than on campus housing, which is a huge plus for people who sleep. I would honestly love to live in these apartments especially because we have a gym, but the ants are not worth it. They haunt me in my dreams. They are on me, my clothes, and my food. They have swarmed in and out of my shoes. JUST DON’T LIVE HERE. IT’S DISGUSTING.

Santa Barbara has nice apartments near school. But this one is very nice and it’s located near businesses such as Costco, Albertsons, Ross, sports authority and some other ones. If you are going to move here make sure you own a car since you won’t be able to bring all your bags in a bicycle if that’s the only thing you have but if you have a basket it would help you. Lol. Nice apartments and view students here live calmly and party every Thursday.
