Frisbee golf heaven. Beautiful open space. I used to bring a six pack of beer, some discs and end my day here, There’s also tennis courts where you can play for free. The south end has a baseball field as well.

I love this course for its open holes a as well as for its en-forested ones. I’ve just started playing again and will definitely be trying to make this more a regular event! There are a few holes that can get muddy and trails that can be blocked off by water(if it ever rains again…) so just be prepared to go out there and tromp around a little bit. Searching for discs in trees and ivy just adds to the adventure ;) The best time to get out there is in the mornings, and during the week if you can, but it’s not that crowded on the weekend mornings either. Holidays are kinda crazy, but that’s to be expected. It’s seems like a great community of disc/golfers as well. People of all ages, playing solo or in large groups have all been super nice and respectful of each other in my experience.

Good variety of open long holes and tightly wooded ones. Some nice elevation changes. Complicated course; map at website. I played here about three years ago and lost a disc. I was excited to play again when the family went camping at El Capitan in Goleta. My friend Pete and I dropped the wife and kids off at the playground that is adjacent to the disc golf course. We played all 18, but it took two hours because we kept losing discs(fortunately, this time we were able to recover them). Be careful of the poison oak as you climb through the jungle. There is a small creek at the bottom of a gulley. The whole course has great elevation changes and obstacles. Even a few dog-leg baskets. We had to ask the locals where the tees were eventhough they were marked with a number in the slab. No real rollers. Very fun course nestled in a quiet neighborhood.
