We came for a Military retirement. More than 40 patrons attending. Although we are technically one party, there are many different groups of people. We attempted to order the bottomless basket for the group of 4 people I was with. The server went back and put the order in when the manager told her because we were a party of 20+ that wasn’t allowed. We explained that were were on or own ticket and wouldn’t be with the other party and asked to speak with the manager. The server came back out and told us that the manager said, «it’s written in the menu and there was nothing to talk about». I’m assuming the manager realized what he said goes against just about any customer service lesson one could receive and came out to talk. By that point, the damage had been done and my experience here is ruined. If it wasn’t for the retirement of a service member after 24 years, I would have walked out at that moment. I will not be returning.

We decided to try ECW for lunch today. When we arrived several of the staff members were sitting in booths watching the games, finally one of them saw us and apologized for not seeing us and sat us. I was with two other people today. Our server was friendly but not very knowledgeable about the beer or food menu. When we asked what the drink specials were she had to go look and then when we asked if Mich ultra was on draft she had to check that as well. On to the food. My brother got the boneless wings, which were very good. I loved that they bring the ranch bottle to the table instead of in a tiny ramican. My boyfriend got the buffalo chicken wrap which he also enjoyed. The French fries are nothing exciting, however, my brother got his with buffalo seasoning which made them much better. I got the buffalo chicken fajitas which were delicious. The only issue I had was when I ordered I specifically asked and reiterated about three times that I would only want fried chicken and was that possible. Our server said yes, however when the arrived it was grilled. She then proceeded to tell me that typically it comes grilled. Eventually she apologized and about 10 minutes later the issue was corrected. The staff could be a little more friendly. When I went to the bathroom there were two staff members in the bathroom both on their cell phones. When I went to dry my hands with the blower they both glared at me and attempted to talk louder over the blower. Then as we were leaving the manager was loudly telling all of the employees they needed to be focused on the customers but failed to even acknowledge our presence. At least the girl that sat us told us thank you and that she hoped we would have a good day. This place needs some work but overall we would return because the food was good.

This is a perfect place to visit for an afternoon beer when visiting Goldsboro which frankly could use a few more places like this. I enjoyed sitting at the bar watching the games and the wings were perfectly acceptable. The chips were great. The restaurant was clean and spacious and I will certainly go back. Update: I initially scored this venue a three star place but if I am going back it must be a four!

My fiancé and I had a good time. We were visiting from New York and We were in town for my annual family reunion. We are big ufc fans and wanted a place to watch the fight. They had great drinks, great appetizers and great staff. Shout out to great staff hostesses Ashley, Tabatha and Mina…

Wings on wings on wings. ECW is probably one of goldsboro’s best cheap eats. The food is solid. The chicken and waffle sandwhich is a must try! It is a sports bar but remains to be family friendly so I would say if you have kids bring them on a non game day. We stopped in on mothers day weekend and it wasn’t packed. Our waitress was great and very nice. The food was good when it was made correctly. The sweet tea wasn’t sweet that they had just made. so our waitress brought us sugar packets. The design wasn’t all that spectacular as the floor is slippery with tile. I think what ECW does great is offer pretty good food at at decent price. I think overall customer service could be a bit better because I’ve had problems with carry out and online order and they were not very helpful leaving me with my own devices for a solution. I would recommend coming here for good cheap eats that aren’t your fast food burgers drive thru places.

It’s wings, beer, and sports what more do you want. Sure this place isn’t anything special but at the same time I think it gets the job done especially for Goldsboro. People always complain about this place but honestly I think it’s better than almost every Buffalo Wild Wings I’ve ever been too. They usually have the big games on including all UFC matches and especially all the college sports in NC area. The service is decent, I’ve definitely had worse. Plenty of TVs to catch your team from any table in the place. Lots of choices on tap and wing flavors as well. If you are expecting white linen service go somewhere else. If you want wings, beer, and fries come here or go somewhere else in Raleigh.

Had never been to an ECW before and was excited to try it. The menu is extensive(too many options, to be honest) but we were set on trying their wings. We did get an appetizer of their fried pickle spears. Those were delicious. Husband opted for boneless wings and I chose the traditional bone-in. There are a nearly infinite number of flavour combinations with heat index options. It took a very long time to choose. But they let you taste test whatever sauce you want. The boneless wings will not be ordered again. More like a chicken nugget with very little chicken and a lot of breading. As for the traditional wings, ECW touts large wings but they were medium at best. Ordered their soft pretzels to go and when they came we decided to try one while they were still hot. The waitress had explained beforehand that they were shaped like sticks. To be very clear, these were NOT pretzels. They were big bread sticks that were deep fried very dark to resemble a pretzel stick with a sprinkling of pretzel salt. Just thinking about them now makes my stomach turn. So oily, just the smell alone was unappetizing. They should at least be honest as to what it really is so the customer can decide on whether they want deep fried bread or not. I will definitely try something other than wings or ‘soft pretzels’ the next time and we’ll see if other options are worth returning for.

The food here isn’t bad, but it doesn’t make me want to return either. There is a huge menu(it’s like reading a book) and plenty of options, but that’s actually one of the downsides for me. It’s sad because it could be so much better, especially with its location. I also don’t appreciate the nickel and dime-ing… The carrots and celery cost extra, sauce costs extra, and you’re limited to what you can do for mixing wing flavors. A friend tried to use some lunch coupons but it was apparently only good for like 2 things on the menu and only one could be used per table. The manager had to apologize on behalf of the waiter because they didn’t tell us this at the time of ordering, which was based off of the coupon options. The setup inside feels overcrowded and the décor feels like a kid play area. Seems disjointed for a place with a bar and TVs. After about 4 meals, and being disappointed by each one, I am over this place and will not return.

I like this place because it has my fave’s. Wings, beer and football :) It’s the only place that i have found so far that shows my AZ Cardinals football games. Their menu has a wide selection of food options and a wide variety of wing sauces(a page full of choices) and of course it wouldn’t be a legit wing place if they didn’t have a hot wing challenge, and let me tell you ITISHOT! Even for this Mexican girl. It’s not very tasty, really it just tastes like they dumped a whole ton of chili powder on it, but if you want to try you can order just one for a lil over $ 1.00 Get you some milk to go with it.

The wings are horrible! My husband tried to tell me this. I did not believe him so we went and he got chicken and waffles. I had the wings. The wings over cooked and bad flavor but the waffles were the bomb! They should just opened for breakfast and serve waffles. But bad rating cause it is a wing joint and they are terrible.

Some days it’s good others not so much. Now that I am gluten free I called to see if there was any options for me and the lady was completely clueless and wasn’t any help. But BTW they don’t have gluten free.

The ECWs back home were always my favorite places to eat so naturally I was ecstatic when I seen they were opening one here. Seeing the pitiful rating associated with this one is sad but after several disappointing visits myself, it’s understandable. At one point, the food we were served was barely edible. Absolutely cold and disgusting. I hope all those who have ate here, have been to other locations or would at least give another location a try because I promise you– they are not all like this! We finally gave this one another shot recently and it has gotten better but still isn’t up to par with the others. Idk what the problem is with this one but they are giving the chain a bad name and hope they can turn it around somehow.

Wings were small and crispy or over cooked on several occasions. The garlic parm, if you like a cream parm sauce forget about it, its a typical hot wing with grated parm sprinkled on it– trash. the chicken sliders, salty beyong anything. Most of their food taste thawed out, nothing original or fresh. For the caliber of business it is I wouldve expected a better selection of Carolina brews at the bar but nothing but the typical stuff. What a grill *sarcasm*. If it werent for the fact that Goldsboro is almost an hour from any other serious wing rest. this place would fall flat on its face. Pass go, do not collect $ 200

pros: nice and friendly service; our waitress was awesome, she was on it. reasonable prices. food came out in timely manner. ribs weren’t bad. cons: some waitresses wear shorts that are much too tight and short which i find to be a bit inappropriate for a family restaurant. wings were overcooked and tasted like they were fried in old stinky oil. fries were cold and soggy. suggestion: avoid wings. get chips over fries.

A nice addition to the Goldsboro food selection. With that said, it took forever to get our orders and they messed up two of the four orders we placed. Our drinks were empty most of the meal and they were out of first two wing flavored we requested… On the bright side, the food we got was good.

I used to love this place, but the service and the food has basically turned to garbage. Adiós, East Coast.
