What a comfy spot. Bed was great, nice pillows, comforters & clean. Air conditioning unit was a bit noisy– but it was like white noise. Small pool, clean. Nicely landscaped, close to a number of places to eat. Only 1⁄3 of a mile from Kickin Kiwi frozen yogurt shop! We travel this way once a year & will return on our next trip this way.

I know it’s not a five star resort, but it is far above passable. The room was not perfect when I got there but I forgot and was thinking about something else 5 minutes later. I’m sure if I would have said something they would have been right up. I did notice that the housekeepers came by unusually early.
I noticed in my room and in my parents’ room that the bed skirts were ripped all around and fixed with safety pins. Wow. let’s at least take the time to stitch them up. :)
All in all it was a decent stay. Every member of the staff that I encountered was very friendly, there was a little «library» to keep you entertained when those wild Goldsboro nights become too much and you have to rest for an evening, the continental breakfast was good (any place where you can make your own belgian waffles is tops in my book), and apparently the fresh cookies were really good… or so I heard. They were snatched up everytime I walked downstairs.
