Long story short– Food is sub par, Service is sub par, Sticky tables, cramped dining. Don’t recommend. Long story– I do agree with previous Unilocalers that the décor and menu are all over the place, but I’m reviewing based solely on quality of food. My husband and I ordered wings for an appetizer and two of the Asian dinners for entrees. We paid for 8 wings in hot sauce and got 7 in Asian sauce. The wings themselves were alright, borderline good for what Goldsboro can muster up for wings which is the only reason I’m giving 2 stars. The entrees were eh. I ordered the shrimp and pineapple fried rice and my husband got the bourbon chicken with friend rice. The vegetables in the rice were that of the frozen medley you used to get fed in elementary school. It was severely lacking flavor. Both were served with an odd house sauce that didn’t add anything to the dishes. My husbands chicken wasn’t terrible but at the same time wasn’t good, just bland and lacking. We won’t be returning.

My first time eating here despite the original reviews… But the reviews focus on the décor. Kinda dumb. I eat, a lot… I ordered the steak sub and bourbon chicken fried rice(both by suggestion). Both were really good. The sub had great bread and taste, the Asian spin on chicken was great. All the reviews are too critical in the wrong area. This is great… I’ll definitely come back and tell everyone about this place.

I rarely am one to complain, but this place certainly merited it. They got my order completely wrong(it even differed from what was listed on the receipt). I asked the manager, a small Asian woman, if I could please get my order corrected. Not only did she refuse to *correct* my order, which, as I mentioned, already differed from what I had ordered on my receipt, but she also completely refused to refund my money. Her response: «We don’t do that here.» I also noticed her being extremely condescending and belittling to her employees. As someone who has worked extensively in the food industry, this is something that really puts me off. In short, they more or less stole my money and refused to correct the problem. If you’re cool with bland & bizarre fusion food and nonexistent customer service, nay, outright thievery, then you’re sure to have a great time at this place.

At first I thought I’d walked into an Asian bootleg store selling knock off purses and overprice jewelry. Proceeded to order a meatball sub to go which took them over 20 minutes to make because quote, «We are not McDonald’s». No s**t Sherlock. Unfortunately their hand-crafted-20-minutes-to-make-because-we-are-not-McDonald’s meatball sub was less than stellar. Pretty standard stuff as sub sandwiches go. And don’t even get me started on the bizarre-o-rama menu which I’m surprised didn’t include a dish for spaghetti with hot dogs. If you’re super bored and have a lot of free time to waste then this is definitely the spot for you.

Interesting menu; it looks from the outside that it is a sub restaurant, which it is, but it has an Italian and Asian menu as well. I asked what was the best item to order, the waiter stated that their steak sandwich was their best. It tasted pretty much like an Andy’s «Philly» steak sandwich with the addition of banana peppers. IMO pretty tasty. I also tried their spring roll and egg rolls as my side dishes. The dipping sauce made the flavor combination. I thought it was pretty good overall.

Not bad, if you want a quick sandwich or lunch. I have a terrible schedule so I find myself eating here quite often. I agree with one of the other reviews, not sure what’s up with the name Aggies.

SORANDOM! The décor is rich, opulent Bordello meets zen Asian minimalist. The menu is just as random as the décor. Teriyaki chicken noodles to burgers to salads to wraps to subs… But wait for it… as appetizers fried okra and fried wontons! For lunch, I was vacillating between the veggie sub(5.99) and the mushroom cheeseburger. I randomly choose the mushroom cheeseburger(2.99). It was ok — the grilled mushrooms were the best part. It was busy(ish) noon(ish) Tuesday for lunch, and they had pretty good service. There are a cornucopia of menu options… I just don’t GETIT though — like what’s the point of the restaurant? Why is it named Aggies? So many random unanswered questions. Sigh. 2.5 stars really… Gosh I really wish Unilocal did half stars!
