I’ve eaten here on several occasions and I’m never disappointed. Great food and great service, not too mention really good specials.

Came in with our two little kids. The slices are really big and they refused to cut it smaller AND give US a knife to cut it! Ridiculous!!! It was also soggy crust and so greasy we had to use napkins to sop it up. Cutting Pizza with a butter knife is a pretty ridiculous feat. Plus the manager made it very clear that this is the way it is done and in no uncertain terms will it be done any differently. Pretty crappy way to treat the customers in my opinion. And to not give the customer a knife other than a butter knife in a restaurant?! As if it’s any of your business what I post, I’ve posted 5 bad reviews in 3 years. Clearly I’m not out there bashing businesses for fun. And I can see by the bitchy way you respond to the negative reviews left on this site that you’re a pretty immature business owner. Not surprised by all the one and two star reviews left. Enough said. Wow… You just don’t get it. But again by the many other negative reviews you’ve received, particularly in regards to your customer service, it’s not surprising.

I have been eating M&B calzones for 20+ years, and have never found another restaurant where I can get cream cheese in my calzone. They are the best calzones ever! I no longer live on the west side, so my visits aren’t as frequent, but I do feel another trip to Golden coming on soon!

Excellent place for quality pizza, custom deep dish was great, dough perfect and garlic bread was addicting — very different from any I’ve had before. Service was also spot on! Sure it does take longer than most places but this was expected as they cook everything fresh and don’t just throw pre made crap commercially bought into a oven. Also have many options for beer from brand name to local small craft

Been there forever and very good! Calzones are to die for. Very casual. Need more gf options though.

We have enjoyed Mannie and Bo’s for years. With the recent changes on their delivery, only doing pizza, calzones, and wings after 3 pm is just ridiculous. We have always ordered calzones and pizza with garlic bread and even some of their sandwiches. They would not allow us to remove an item from one of their calzones. I don’t know if they changed this but they were always freshly made to order. I will no longer order from Mannie Bo’s because of the limited menu after 3 pm and the lack of customer requests. Hello Domino’s and Pizza Hut, they will have my business

Pizza? Seriously? Soft bread with cheese on it. Delivery was expeditious but I would have preferred to wait longer for a better baked pizza.

Although the pizza was permissible, there are multiple junctions regarding customer service where I was severely disappointed. From the clarity of menu guidelines, to a sudden $ 8 «gratuity» charge, and the general bothered attitude of the employee over the phone, I wont be returning for another pizza anytime soon.

This is better than Giordanos in my opinion and if you don’t know what Giordanos is then you wouldn’t appreciate this place anyway. When you don’t have to ask for extra cheese, extra sausage, or load your pizza with Parmesan, then you’re eating good pizza!

The food was good and the service was good. My house margarita was not super great. It was way too sweet and tart, I couldn’t even have more than a sip. I would return though for the food.

Great little pizza place, found it using Unilocal and the calzone reviews are right on, it was great and the service was fine

Not sure why all the hate out there for Mannie and Bo’s, but I’ve been eating here with my family for a lot of years and it’s by far some of the best ‘Za around. Service is excellent, solid drink selection, but you just have to be patient when ordering your pie. They make it abundantly clear all over the restaurant when ordering your pizza, it will take time so they can make it the right way, the best way and the tastiest way for you to enjoy. I have no stake in this pizza joint other than to say I’ve never once in all the years I’ve been eating here alone or with my family ever once had bad service or bad pizza. And we usually got on Friday evenings when the place is packed and we are still able to get seats and don’t mind waiting to eat their tasty pizza. Keep in mind they are known for thin pizza, not thick Chicago style. However you can order it, and I’ve had it, but I don’t think it’s as good as their thin style. If you skip this place because of a few negative reviews, you are missing out!

This place is making it harder and harder for us to keep up our customer service and support. We have ordered from them for 3 years since moving here and first we have to forego the sides for delivery, then no taco pizza, now I call today and we can no longer order what we have literally ordered the most from this place. Our«usual» is the Deluxe with no mushrooms due to an allergy. It’s been our go-to since they decided Taco is too hard to deliver and sides are impossible for their kitchen to produce for delivery customers. She told me today there are«no subtractions» BUT we can order by topping which of course is more expensive OR they can go light on the mushrooms??? Seriously? The kitchen can go light on mushrooms but can’t leave them off? We have both worked in the pizza industry for years now, husband the longest including the kitchen and as a delivery driver. We get it, we are patient and kind with the industry, we tip well, we understand everyone is just doing their job. We try to be compliant and roll our eyes behind their back but this is just absurd. Totally sucks because we really enjoyed this place, supported them and spread their praises around Golden; we always vote for them on the best of competitions. Between not complying with their supportive and paying customers and hearing public Facebook complaints about lazy workers I think we are done. Thanks for your delicious product that you keep making more and more impossible for everyone to enjoy.

This is THEPLACE to get a calzone. Getting one anywhere else results in disappointment. At other establishments I have received quizzical looks when I’ve asked for cream cheese in my calzone. This place has ruined me! No other calzone will ever live up to the Mannie and Bo’s deliciousness standard. My favorite is the Hawaiian Calzone with cream cheese. Not only is the interior mixture of ingredients divine, but the crust is amazing. This also makes for a yummy pizza! If you’re dining in be ready to wait 30 – 35 minutes since everything here is cooked fresh. The garlic bread is amazing and makes for a great appetizer while you wait.

I finally talked my work mates into having pizza other than Domino’s and all I can say is what a disappointment. We all got the lunch special, 2 pieces of pizza with a drink for $ 5.99. Really, I don’t understand what happened. All the reviews rave about the pizza but ours was super greasy, doughy and under-cooked. This was quite possibly the worst pizza I’ve had in some time. I couldn’t even eat it and the little bit I did eat landed in my stomach like a lead weight. Maybe their whole pies are better, but I’d skip the lunch special if I were you.

Some of my favorite pizza in Colorado. They have a killer deal on Weds. Thin NY crust, good sauce, and house made chorizo and sausage. I actually like their sausage better than Hops and Pie. Also they have a great selection of beers on draft and in cans. Happy hour get you a dollar off= Hollar! A little off the beaten path, but a great little mom and pop restaurant. Love the kitschy signage, and décor, it is really nostalgic for me growing up in the northeast. My favorite combo is the chorizo and cream cheese choice. If you have not had cream cheese on a pie, you absolutely must try it. It is even better with the chorizo, sausage, and some chile, or caramelized onion with it.

Best around. Have to try the cheesy bread appetizer and green chili and cream cheese in a calzone! Takes some time to get the food. Plan ahead for an hour. No quick lunch here.

On a recent trip to Golden, CO… the pizza craving hit hard. Unilocal to the rescue! In an unfamiliar area, I love using Unilocal to find new places. My finding a place on Unilocal tip… find a place with lots of reviews(check), find a place with 4 stars or more(check) and you have found a local treasure(CHECK!). I taught this trick to my husband as we were careening down the road in desperate need of pizza in the 5 mile radius of our lodging. Which is totally how we found this local joint… Really…without Unilocal,I dough-not think we would have found the«Best pizza in Denver» according the the signs plastered everywhere inside once we entered into the strip mall location. Speaking of dough… we decided to go on ahead and try the«chicago style» pizza with house made sausage and other delightful treats.(after reading the other reviews post meal, I realized that is not the way to do it up at this place)…but we were in Denver… ordering a «chicago style»…we fell for the gimmick. It takes a long time. The pizza is actually totally worth the wait. I will order thin crust the next time I go. This way I will not get so drunk on craft beer and whiskey flights while waiting a super long time for good pizza. Thin crust. Next time. Note: I stuck around for a bit after dinner to talk to the owner of the place and he was very very nice! In fact it was just great for such a large busy place to GET to talk to the owner while he was cutting and serving up the«best pizza in Denver». I asked him if he put thyme in the sausage… he said it was a secret. I guess I will have to work on my palate for next time.

Thin crust is great. You can get half orders of spaghetti. It comes with plenty of garlic bread. I heard the Philly like beef sandwich is good too so I’m gonna try that next time. Great prices and nice people.

As a Chicago native I can proudly and loudly declare this the BEST Chicago pizza in Denver! In fact, I’d go as far as to say it’s easily the best pizza outside of Chicago. Ditch the deep dish, that’s a touristy Chicago cliché. A real chicagoan knows it’s all about crispy thin crust, golden kissed cheese, perfect ratio of toppings, and the finishing presentation of being cut into squares. After all, what’s a true pizza experience without snagging the tiny baby triangles on the edges while the rest of the pizza cools. Mannie and Bo’s has it all! From the atmosphere and the deals to the perfect pizzas and metal thing the pizza sits on at the table… this place is truly a Chicago pizza place! You can grab pizza by the whole pie or by the slice. Either way you can’t go wrong. You might regret not having some extra to take home. As your pizza euphoric state wears off late in the night, you will wish you had just one more piece waiting for you in the fridge. The best part is this won’t break the bank. Great prices and great daily deals. This local joint has been in steady business for many years for a reason. So if you’re craving some Chicago style pizza outside of the windy city… Step 1 — eat at Mannie and Bo’s Step 2 — never eat pizza anywhere else again… unless you’re in Chicago.
