Decktec is a family business that designed built our deck 17 years ago, and have refinished it several times including just recently. When they found that some of the wood needed replacement about 8 years ago when they were doing a refinish, they did it under an unwritten «gentleman’s» extended warranty. We had to replace some joists this year — they could have said (as my wife did) «tear it down and rebuild» for $ 20K but instead we paid about $ 3K for the repair and our deck is good for another 15 – 20 years.
We have always been happy with their service — they do quality work, with courteous staff. What you get is what you pay — they are not the cheapest but they stand by their work.

We have used Deck Tec to repair our deck for several years now. They are very conscientious and we have been pleased every time. This year they rebuilt a wooden seat that was badly weather worn, replaced several boards, and refinished the deck and a privacy wall. Now it looks like new, even though the deck is 15 years old. It was not especially cheap, but the work was so well done we feel it was worth it. Good company. We will have them come to refurnish things every year going forward.
