Kajun Kent and the boys are awesome. Not a getaway destination but, for fishing, the BEST in that part of the bayou!!!

Don’t come here expecting 1200 thread count sheets and a turn down service. You’ll be lucky if your bed doesn’t have some sand in it when you arrive.
Don’t bring the wife or kids unless they are into fishing. There is pretty much nothing to do in Leesville other than fish. The one restaurant closes at 9 and the one bar isn’t a place for the wife or kids. (See Pappy’s Place review)
This is essentially a fish camp. Bring the boat, moor it right outside your unit, get up early and catch a ton of fish. People staying here are either fishing all day or working in the oil business. The rooms are decent sized and some include a kitchen. All include at least a mini-​fridge. Adjoining rooms are available upon request. Bring ear plugs as people are getting up or coming home from fishing at all hours. Prices are reasonable and there are spots under most rooms to park your truck in the shade. Common area are available for drinking beer, cooking fish and hanging out. Several bait stands within walking distance…
This is a good choice (honestly, I think the only one) for lodging if planing a trip to Leesville.
