Had such potential. Food was pretty good but the service was very very slow. The place wasn’t even that busy. Waited over 30 minutes after we were done before anyone come to check on us. If the service was better I would easily give them 4 or more stars.

Sat out on the porch, had a beer and the trestle burger, friendly bartender… Life is good

Stopped here to have a few drinks and dinner. It was poker night and the place was packed with people playing cards. We had a few appetizers and a burger. The food was typical pub fare, albeit the menu was a bit limited. The drinks were cheap and bartenders very friendly & attentive. Would love to get here for happy hour — $ 1.50 drafts can’t be beat. A lively crew at the bar kept things interesting.

I so want this place to be just a «little» more… LOVE the live music… decent drinks but… They desperately need to learn to use seasonings in the food… Place has a great feel but really lacking on food front… charge .50 more for a burger made with good meat… and seasoned with at least Salt and Pepper… Just moved to Goffstown and hoped the Trestle could be «my place» for a Monday or Fiday night«burger and beer» joint… guess I need to keep looking…

Every time I come home, I love this place more. It’s still cheesy. It’s still dark. But it has a certain charm you don’t find in the big cities. The drinks are ridiculously cheap, there’s usually a pool table free, and there’s ample parking(just head over to the town hall if they run out of space in front).

I went to this place to meet some friends about some unrelated business. There was a blues band playing — the Bruce Marshall Band. I’m a big blues fan and that’s why this place was chosen. They have a blues jam on Sundays that I’ve heard is pretty good. There aren’t too many good blues places around. As I approached the place, I noticed a crowd of bikers with a their gang colors on hanging around outside. This could be taken 2 ways. A turnoff if you don’t like bikers, or a plus because they know good blues and this would be a good early indicator. The band was really cookin’ as I entered –you have to walk in right by where they play. The place was pretty much packed, with a very laid back, comfortable crowd. I stayed for an hour, there was no cover charge. It was 9:30 when I got there, nobody seemed to be eating. As I had a couple of my own super margaritas before going, I didn’t even get a drink, so this is strictly an entertainment review. My guess is that the food is middle of the road burgers etc., definitely not fine dining. As a blues venue, it is very good. The band was way above average, and even had a guest sax player for the evening. They did original and cover material.
