So disappointed by the poor business practices at this gym. They attempt to pressure and up-sell me at every visit. I am in the process of moving and had to cancel my membership. I was told on 2 separate occasions that my account was frozen and that I was all set. $ 240 was taken from my account without authorization after I had an agreement with the manager. I called and reported my concerns and I was blown off time after time. They couldn’t be less apologetic and refused to help make this right in any way.

Every time I go in the tv screens are never working(no signal) and once again I complain. This has been almost 6 months and when I bring the staff over they act like its a new problem. So frustrating

My best advice would be find another gym. I went into this gold gym just to request some information about what they have to offer, as I was considering alternative options. Andy was the promoter/representative that assisted me. I told him I just wanted info. Long story short, he convinced me to sign, which is fine, I made my own decision. The problem was, I said I would try it for a month or two, and I would like the option to cancel. In his attempt to get a signed contract he urged me to try it for a month or two. It’s my fault for not reading the contract. The issue is, you should be able to trust someone you’re conducting business with. I’ve been in sales for over 5 years, and my client’s never read documents, that does not give me reason to lie to them… I wanted to use Manchester’s gym also, so I left 3 messages, 3 separate occasions with Goffstowns front desk representative’s. The reason I decided I wanted to withdraw my membership was because I’m busy enough, to where I shouldn’t have to hunt a business down, to potentially PAYTHEMMORE, FORMORESERVICE! When I called to cancel they told me I had a one year contract, contrary to what Andy told me. Please do not support dishonest business practices. It cost me an additional $ 50 to cancel my «month to month» membership. I’m not aware of how they do business at Manchester Golds, but I know I would never recommend Goffstown Golds.
