Great food, great staff – Breakfast is the bomb! Food is consistently great and the ambiance is enjoyable. I would highly recommend Chiggy’s for breakfast or lunch

The pancakes and French toast are great though the pancakes are so big and fluffy that I can’t get through even one. My bf keeps getting the meat lover’s omelette and has loved it. The servers are both friendly.

CASHONLY, folks. You’ve been warned. But let’s talk food. Portions are large and cheap, and the options are nothing fancy. It’s what you’d expect from the typical greasy-spoon type breakfast place. Chiggy’s isn’t glamorous, but they know how to make decent eggs, bacon, and pancakes. Service is slow and waits can be long on the weekends, so expect to carve out an hour or more for your meal. However, the staff is friendly, coffee has free refills, and I have no major complaints.

Food is very good but service was very slow. We were still waiting for our food while the two couples who were seated at the same time were finished and paid. People who were seated after us were served before us. I had the special and my girlfriend just an omelet. Not like it was that complicated.

This place was a little awkward on the inside. When you first walk in there is a separate dining area that has two or three tables and at first I thought that was it. Fortunately there was more seating down two stairs. Our service was ok. We were waited on by a few different people and sometimes that works out in a positive way and sometimes not. One of the servers was pretty grumpy. The coffee cups were huge, which is a kitchy sort of nice, but it basically means unless you down your coffee it gets cold. They did stop by and ask if we needed a warm up at one point, but warming up cold coffee just makes for not hot coffee. No biggy, just an observation. Their menu had a lot of upcharges. I find it odd that Rye toast is additional money. I don’t think I’ve ever heard of that. Also, Cash only. They do have an ATM in the doorway, but to start off your morning by paying an ATM fee is a little annoying. There are very few businesses I think should still accept cash only payments. We were kind of in a time crunch and things seemed pretty slow there so at first I ordered Irish benedict but she told me that would take longer so I downgraded to regular benedict. Overall, the food was just ok. Not bad, not great. After all of the upcharges the prices were also just ok. If I lived next door I’d go back, but I wouldn’t go out of my way. I just felt it was nothing to write home about(but obviously worth writing on Unilocal about.)

Nothing special eggs r eggs. The only thing I didn’t care about is they don’t accept plastic, cash only. That’s why I’ll never be going there anymore. And I live .8mile away.

My breakfast was ok. I had the irish benedict and I wanted to like the cornbeef hash but did not. I expect it was out of a can. The side of chili I had was homemade and I wasnt impressed. My wife didnt like her chili cheese omellette. Now truth be told. We waited a longggg time to get our food. They were busy I understand that it takes time to get the order done and the fact they were so busy was a good sign. They need more help. Cooking for one table at a time is why we waited 45 mins about could have been longer for our food. Maybe thats why we were so critical of the taste when we finally got our order. I really think the food was underwelming and the wait is horrible. The waitress was very nice she gets a perfect score.

Chiggy’s Place relocated from Manchester(Westside) to Goffstown(Pinardville) a few miles away, in the Little Green Mall next to McDonald’s. I’ve enjoyed good breakfasts several times at the former Manchester location(there was a fire there). I decided to drop into the new Goffstown location for late Sunday breakfast. The new digs seem more spacious with two dining rooms(yellow walls in the upper room & red walls in the main dining room). There are pictures and décor on the walls. This full service breakfast & lunch restaurant has table seating for up to 40 people, no lunch counter seating here. Like before, the coffee mugs(16 oz) here are HUGE and they brew New England Coffee. The breakfast menu offerings include breakfast sandwiches, breakfast burrito, eggs, omelets, pancakes, Texas French toast, Belgian waffles, and sides. The lunch menu offers grilled sandwiches, wraps, burgers, hot dogs, chips, and salads. A Lil’ Chiggy’s(10& under) menu is also offered. Bottled Coke products are served here. The prices are pretty reasonable. Specials are posted on the chalkboard. The Early Bird Special(6AM-7:30AM) includes 2 eggs, homefries, toast, and coffee for $ 4.00. I arrived here around 12:25PM on a Sunday when the place was not too busy, seat yourself(menus at each table). The waitress walked over and took my drink order, which was a mug of fresh brewed coffee($ 1.60), still brewed right and just what I needed! It did take a few moments to get the waitress’s attention when I was ready to order. For breakfast, I ordered the Fenway Omelet($ 7) with hash browns & wheat toast. I watched my food being cooked to order on the grill(kitchen area visible from main dining room), ready and served in 10 minutes, drop & run. However, it took a couple minutes to get the waitress’s attention for a bottle of ketchup(Hunt’s) and a refill on the coffee. Also, there is no jelly/jams on the table for the toast, but I eat my toast without the sweet spreads. The Fenway Omelet was a big folded egg sheet filled with sliced Italian sausage, green & red peppers, onions, & melted cheese. The hash browns(shredded potatoes) were nicely grilled and browned & crisp on the outside. The buttered wheat toast was standard. The check was drop off, as I finished. The food overall was very tasty and filling, just like my previous visits to Chiggy’s. On this visit, the service here was laid back and the food served in acceptable time. I needed to make eye contact with the waitress to get her attention. Also, it was towards the end of food service(place closes at 1PM on the weekends/2PM weekdays) and the staff and servers were seen eating together in the corner. I left exact change plus tip on the table with check and the waitress said«Thank you, have a good day!» CASHONLY, ATM on premises FREEWIFI
