I went to the ER at NLH with some mild chest pain and the nurses were relatively nice however the Dr’s in the ER were rude and had a lousy bed side manner… not a hospital that I would ever recommend.

The staff in Physical therapy, Outpatient Surgery, Radiology and the lab are excellent. The ER I can’t say too much positive about. My husband went in with kidney stones, doubled over in pain and they never once gave him anything to help with the pain. He decided the next time that happened to just stay home and tough it out. I went in with a similar problem and they just left me alone in a room and let me watch cable TV.

The Emergency Room like most hospitals leaves a lot to be desired but the rest of the hospital especially the maternity ward is awesome. The Nurses are so helpful and caring as is their OBGYN staff. Every body works together to make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible. You know if you need a break that your baby is in good hands while you shower or rest up for the long nights ahead. Both of my children were delivered at Nathan Littauer and my experiences there have been nothing but positive both in Primary Care and the actual hospital.

They do have some nice nurses and doctors that work there. And that the only positive thing I have to say about this place. Twice when my father had a heart attack this bunch of ass monkeys diagnosed as indigestion. That’s right, not just one heart attack — but two separate heart attacks on two separate occasions. I have heard endless stories from people from Fulton County NY that recognize that if your dying you should pray that you can make it to Amsterdam or Albany. Only go to Nathan Littauer if your sure your going to die. In fact — now that I think of it — you might be better of just staying home and dying.
