I was in town on business at Gloucester City High. I wanted to get a hoagie to eat. The easiest thing to do would have been to go to the Wawa across the street, but I looked on here for a local place. Since it was around the corner from the school, I took a shot. The service was friendly. The place looked clean. I got the two-foot turkey and cheese(half for now, half for later). When I opened the sandwich, I was worried that I wasn’t going to like it because the roll had cracks in it. My experience has been that that happens when the bread sits out in the open and gets hard and crumbles. Surprisingly, the roll was soft and fresh. The meat tasted delicious. It was a good sandwich. The second half was even better after chilling in the fridge for a while. I would definitely go back again if I am in the area.

Talk about a hidden gem. Nothing outstanding about this place EXCEPT the hoagies. If you can find a better hoagie in New Jersey, heck anywhere, please tell me… but you won’t. I recommend the Godfather(the best Italian sub I’ve ever had) or the New York Cowboy, but you really can’t go wrong with any of them. Oh yeah, and the owner and staff are pretty great too! Try it! It’s worth the trip.
