On vacation in Glenwood Springs and needed my weekly donut fix. Found this place on the way out of town. The apple fritters are as big as the state of Texas. The fritter was the best I have ever had, but the most expensive fritter I ever bought. Good quality, but prices are way too high for donuts.

Seriously good donuts. They’ve got a great selection and every one that I’ve tried(and there have been a few!) has been delicious. The breakfast sandwiches look good as well, although I haven’t actually had one yet. Try the cronut.

Best doughnuts I’ve ever had. Don’t forget to get one filled(I got chocolate crème). This is a must if you’re in town! The sandwiches look amazing too– but being the day after national donut day(and the only donut shop I the last town we were in was sold out!) — we had to go for the donuts!

Ok now that’s a donut. Dough was flavorful and the glazing as well as other toppings were just what it should be, complimentary. The owner was real friendly making sure everything was okay! Not sure of variety as we arrived after 12pm but they had what I wanted. Blueberry fritter. Voodoo donuts might have the crazy toppings but this place taste much better.

Oh my goodness, this is every dieter’s nightmare! Donuts are to die for, so light fluffy and good. Sandwiches, both breakfast and lunch, are the best in town. Great coffes to wash it all down with. Now, they have added Gelato to the menu! The staff is always friendly and nice.

Great local donut maker… delicious selection with a multitude of toppings and flavors. Favorites are the apple fritter and cinnamon rolls! They also make huge breakfast burritos and sandwiches, be sure to get it with their tasty green chili. And don’t forget to have one of their delicious Bloody Mary’s with homemade mix, yum!

Awesome doughnuts! Coffee was good. Big plus! Quick and friendly service. It was very comfortable and homey. Does a very large sandwich menu as well, but we did not try anything yet. Will definitely return and find out what else they have to offer. Highly recommended.

I love this place! Fantastic donuts and breakfast sandwiches. Any time I am in the area I always stop in. I’m from the east coast and their bagels are some of the best ive had out here. They even serve mimosas, bloody Mary’s and other alcoholic drinks. The service and atmosphere are great. Super friendly and super comfortable. The couple that owns it are adorable– their daughter is usually running around the bakery helping out or coloring at one of the tables. Make sure you try a cronut and one of their amazing breakfast sandwiches!!!

These guys really get it right. I love a crisp, fluffy, not too sweet donut as much as the next gal, but this is a great breakfast sandwich place too! I’m super picky about sausage gravy but they really nailed it. Great service, local casual style. Love it.

UH-mazing! Words cannot express how delicious and sweet this little place is. I will try to do my best, but you need to try it to really feel and believe it! So yes, this bakery does serve donuts and they are remarkable… the husband can vouch for that! However, I am vouching for the kitchen(and the bakery, but sweets take a back seat to savory for me). We ordered two items on the menu: one from the bakery case and one from the kitchen. From the case, a cherry fritter. From the kitchen, the Grand Avenue which is a toasty Parmesan bagel with pepper jack cheese, thick-sliced bacon, egg, and jalapeño cream cheese. Seriously, my mouth is watering just trying to write this review because both were so tasty and awesome! The fritter was fresh made… the outside was sugary, crunchy deliciousness while the inside was moist and doughy with cherry running in ribbons throughout. The husband was in heaven and I was delighted! The sandwich for me, however, was the cat’s meow. The cream cheese was chock full of roasted jalapeño pieces, the bacon was crispy and not greasy, and the egg and cheese were decadent. All together, the ingredients made me a happy lady! Now, the sandwich menu is amazing and though I really wanted to try the Fat Pig, my senses told me that splitting the donut and sandwich with the husband was a smart choice. We ate around 8:30 and it is 1pm right now and I am still satisfied… even after walking three miles around Glenwood checking stuff out. I am so into this place! You won’t go wrong with anything on the menu-trust me, I read about ten Unilocal reviews as a teaser before going and trying it myself. Is that like foreplay for food?! Yum!!!

BALLS! Had the Fat Pig breakfast sandwich(bacon bread, sausage bread, egg, ham, sugar cured bacon, cheddar, cream cheese) and the Crossfit(doughnut sandwiched with bacon, egg, and cheese) and MYGOD it was delicious. This will be a weekly nosh fest for me. Goodbye good cholesterol.

My first stop into Sweet Coloradough was simply by chance. I had actually read about this establishment and happened to be passing by on my snowy and slow drive home to Boulder. It was towards the end of the day and the donuts were steeply discounted, so much so that we left with an entire box(the crème brûlée was our favorite) as well as a cup of joe. The shop/store was a good size and featured a handful of tables. The bathrooms were conveniently located and clean. The staff was friendly and happy to chat(rumor has it a Sweet Coloradough may be opening up in/near Boulder). Something I found rather interesting was that there was what appeared to be a bar within the donut shop. What I’ve heard is that this location also has some great food and is looking to perhaps expand to include a game room(upstairs). On my next trip there I’ll be sure to not only pick up some donuts but also try one of their delicious sandwiches on fresh-baked bacon and jalapeño cheddar bread.
