I was really impressed with the quality of the room. It was large and clean and came with a large new TV with DirectTV. The service was very friendly — the owner gave me directions back to the highway and the nearest gas stations when I checked out. They serve a good continental breakfast. It’s a great value too, I’ve stayed at places three times more expensive that aren’t as good.

We stayed at the Hanging Lake Inn(next door) our first night in Glenwood and Rodeway our second night because I can’t cope without breakfast and feel like all hotels should have continental breakfasts. Rodeway serves breakfast from 6−9a and it’s stocked with OJ, coffee, cheap store-bought bagels and pastries removed from their plastic wrap, raisin bran, and waffles: an average hotel morning experience. The rooms were maybe 15 years older in style/updates than the Hanging Lake Inn, but I slept better in the older bed. Rodeway also has fridges and microwaves, unlike Hanging Lake. As for customer service, I got the feeling like Rodeway is a Family business, and the 2 of the 3 front-desk workers that I encountered seemed European. They all seemed really friendly to me. Maybe they just don’t like people who act snooty & entitled. Overall, I was very satisfied with Rodway for the price.

This place has horrible customer service! They try to intimidate you with comments that are irrelevant… like«why are you showing me your passport instead of your drivers license?»…it’s an identification, period. And were extremely rude when we inquired about checking in earlier. His response was«I hope you read the check in rules online, check in is at 3»…ahhh douche bag. I don’t appreciate his rudeness.

We have stayed here twice so far and we have had a great experience both times! The staff is friendly and the rooms are always very clean. I love how it is close to the hot springs and how the price is very affordable!

We had made our reservation in advance, but mistakenly misread the website and thought they accepted pets. Upon attempting to check in we tried to hand the clerk the reservation print-out information. He stated«I don’t need that, just give me your credit card and ID.» He then noticed we had a dog and stated«We don’t take pets». We asked if he could guide us to a hotel that did accept the dog. He walked away from the desk and went into a room behind the desk to speak with who we figured to be a manager. He said loud enough for us to hear«I’m not gonna put up with this shit, you handle it». She was asking questions about the dog, like if she barks or would be in the room alone. She then stated that we would have to get a room with two beds, probably because we were two men traveling together. At this point we asked for our credit card and ID back. She did suggest a place just down the street, Red Mountain Inn, that did take pets. It was much nicer and less expensive. The staff was also infinitely more friendly, but then again Hitler would have been more friendly.

We would stay here again for sure. It is only about 2 miles from the hustle and bustle of downtown Glenwood. The hotel was quite and the staff friendly. They offer smoking rooms, which is pretty much unheard of anymore. The continental was just fine, just enough to get you going in the morning. The reason they did not get 5 stars is because the pillows were like rocks, we ended up going to Target to purchase new ones. But other than that, we were pleased.

Convenient, comfortable, clean and priced right! The owners are wonderful and helpful.(We met them at the continental breakfast which was well-stocked and just what we needed before heading on to a Rockies game.)
