Very convenient location in relation to my work conference(within walking distance) which is why I booked here. Clean & affordable, free laundry, work out room, and shuttle service was available on weekdays. Staff was friendly, but not knowledgable about surround area(even restaurants or businesses within a mile) and walls were very thin. Would likely stay here again if convenient for a nearby conference.

I would stay somewhere else if given a choice for an extended period of time. Issues were not resolved even with multiple calls to IHG. I echo the sentiments of others who complain about dirty towels and linens. Avoid.

Facilities are okay, comfortable and clean however the staff was extremely unhelpful, not accommodating or knowledgeable of their own buildings. I called about a week before check-in and again the day before to get a room next to my sisters which was very important to the stay as I was working long days and she was babysitting my toddler but also had her family too, so she needed to be able to put the toddler down for a nap and still allow her kids to play and watch TV, anyway I expressed how important this was to our stay yet they waited until check-in to try to accomodate and they still put us on opposite ends of the building adding so much more stress to this pregnant mom working 16 hour days.

Had a great stay here. The new rooms are comfortable and good value for money. The staff are very friendly & eager to help out. Check-in was super fast. Breakfast was great and very tasty. I’ll be staying here again when Im in the area, no doubt.

Do not waste your money at this Staybridge. It’s currently under renovation, so it’s crowded as some of the sections are closed, and thus loud. TVs don’t work– we’ve had the manager come up 3 times to address as we’re here for a longer stay, and the reason for malfunctioning is due to Dish Network. Fitness and laundry are closed. The walls as paper thin so you hear dogs, loud kids, stomping, dropping objects, and smell whatever your neighbor is cooking. Really one of the worse Staybridge experiences ever.

Pretty dang solid if you’re staying in the area. Price point over reality equals on point.(… just invented a new, Unilocal-friendly version of math, lookatthat!) My third floor room was a suite; renovated, with a small kitchen and workspace. Staff = so super nice! Shout out to front desk guy who read my article on MKEAND let me check-in early AND got my a shuttle to the train station for free. Word up, homes. Gym = minimal stuff, could use a nice little overhaul. Pool facilities were closed so I couldn’t get my elder lady-style water aerobics on, but that’s cool.

Let me first say the facilities are nice. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite and everything was clean. The complimentary breakfast was good for the most part with a lot of selections. The reason why I only give it 3 stars is the staff. On the morning we planned to take the train into Chicago. I went down to talk to the person at the front desk. She started to tell me about how the train system works(Phone rings) Her: Let me get this(talks to customer). Comes back to me and 2 sentences later(Phone rings) Her: Hold on a second, I need to answer this. Really? Someone not there with you is more important than someone standing right in front of you? Later that evening, I called down to tell them that my DVD player in the living room didnt work. I told her no rush to fix it tonight, but if they can do it tomorrow in the day time so we can watch a movie, that would be helpful. She said Ok. The next day after our return back in the early evening, same DVD still doesnt work. I call down and another front desk person says, «It says here that they swapped it out» No they didnt. Fortunately he came up and swapped it out for me right then and there. Also, we had to call down to front desk on two different nights because kids upstairs were running around at midnight. Very thin walls. Overall a good hotel that needs more staff apparently.

This place is lame… totally lame! So… My wife and I upgraded to the«Gold» level for the rPriority Rewards program and this place does not honor any of the benefits of the program… not one… That is the ONLY Reason I booked this hotel. Should have stuck with Marriott! Pissed that I spent the $ 200 to upgrade for the year! Note to rewards program consumers… Don’t do it! Stick with a hotel chain and earn the rewards. This upgrade BS is crap crap crap! Priority Club, I expected more from you! O

I can’t imagine what happened since that five star review in 2009 but this place sucks. The sheets on our bed were not changed. They had actual creases left from the previous occupant. It was awful. They have a big sign on the door about free internet but I had to get on the phone with some tech support guy who told me their router was busted. He manually logged me in to the slowest internet I’ve had since phone modem days in the nineties. It was useless. Oh, and the towels are tiny and rough. Stay away from this place. Being able to bring your dog is nice but I think you’d be better off having him take you to his kennel.

We have stayed here on several occasions,(prior to Unilocaling). Love that we can bring the dog & the hotel isn’t «doggy». It is clean, close to lots of eats & good things, including Whole Foods & Costco. We love all the space of suites, the couch, the work desk & space to work at the kitchenette. For the pups, great grassy spots around the hotel, walking path(in the summer). On the bummer side, some dog owners are not as responsible as they should be & litter is to be watched out for. Come on people! Take some responsibility! These suites are home away from home 2+/yr for us. We love the hospitality & the location.

About 45 minutes north of Chicago. Great hotel, pets ok for a small fee, 1 bedroom suites available. DVD’s in all the rooms, some rooms with fireplaces. Laundry room in the building and it’s free! Corporate rates available.

For a Holiday Inn Suites I was impressed at this relatively new location. We were driving back from visiting a friend in Indiana and on the toll road while we found out our first choice — the Wyndham on Waukegan was booked full so we chose this as an alternate. I think it was a much better choice. Spacious room with 2 bedrooms and a living area — we each had our own king beds to spread out on. Kitchenette complete with fridge and utensils. TVs in the front room and two bedrooms along with 2 full sized baths and a nice kitchen table. Excellent HVAC system. I’d stay here again. Cocktail receptions and continental breakfast bar. Workout room and coin laundry. Indoor pool and outdoor BBQs. Mini store and internet computers in the business center. The only thing preventing a full 5 *‘s — the desk clerk was a bit of a grouch checking us in. Conveniently close to the 294 Toll Road — accessible to the 94 Expressway but expect traffic during peak hours. Close to the new Glenn or whatever that complex is down the road with shops and restaurants. Costco and Harley Davidson dealers are across Willow Rd. All in all a very favorable impression of what my hometown used to be like before I moved away. I’d come back here again. It was nice to see a thunderstorm roll in. I miss the rain sometimes.

Great hotel for any business traveler. Had a colleague stay there a month on a project while others in the group just stayed a couple nights. Large rooms and it appears to be brand new.
