Very friendly, professional, and a great cut… at a reasonable price! Joseph gave me a nice business cut, and worked with the challenges my hair can cause. I will come back when back in Chicago.

This salon is really great in services and hospitality… very friendly and accommodating! Everyone says «Hi» when you enter and with great big smiles. I called in on the same day to see if they can possibility take me as it is really hard for me to schedule in advance sometimes and they’ve been fantastic! Mila, my hair stylist, has been very sweet and does great jobs with styling and coloring my hair. She checks to see if I like what she’s doing, and to see if I need anything… water, coffee, comfort level etc. The salon is always bustling with customers, good sign! :-)

Mila is amazing! I made a last minute appointment after 17 hours of flights and airports and she was very happy to help me. She did a lovely braid updo for a wedding reception in less than an hour. She was attentive, helpful and has a great eye. She made sure that my hair looked perfect and that I was happy with her work. I would definitely come back to Mila again!

I had the pleasure of meeting the wonderful staff at Joseph and Anthony’s. Everyone was so friendly, kept offering coffee and water, throughout my visit. Joseph did my highlights and haircut. He did an excellent job and was very attentive. I felt like I was a part of their family. Excellent salon, I highly recommend it.

This salon is an institution. Between Tony and Joe you would think you are part of the family. These guys are a class act. Joseph takes care of my wife and her highlights and the haircut. While Tony is in the background making us all laugh. Joe makes my wife’s hair look awesome with all the highlights he does. Tony and Joseph are the guys you need to go to.

I started coming to this place 3 years ago when I worked nearby. I know live 45 minutes away but the commute is well worth the cut! Tony is my guy does a great job every time and will try and work you in last minute if need be.
He even tries to send referral business to me, some interesting stories and while you may hear one or two a few times still usually funny.
I would recommend anyone that has hair to this place.

I called on a whim because I had a window of time, read some other reviews and desperately needed a haircut. I’ve had a tough time finding someone I like in the suburbs but Mila did a fantastic job. She did exactly what I asked and I really like my hair. I’ll definitely be back!

Took me years to find someone who didn’t give fifty year old men a twelve year olds haircut. Tony regals you with stories while doing his job with skill and humor. A fun, always interesting, and high quality place.

I have followed these guys around having my hair cut since I was 9 years old. Tony honestly gives the BEST hair cut with the most perfect layers you can’t get anywhere else. My mom has been coming here for just as long and we won’t go anywhere else. Don’t expect to walk in and have a 30 minute in and out appointment — they actually care about your hair here. Perfection takes time and make sure they know if you are in a hurry. This is a salon that feels like family not some chain or cookie-​cutter approach to hair.
Malli is the new resident medical aesthetition — she’s honestly the bomb. I’m 28 and I actually looked younger and more youthful in one facial. She gives a true ultrasonic facial. She gives your face the treatment you need for your skin type and the products she uses are high quality. I’ve been places where they simply refill bottles with cheap over the counter materials — you can TELL the difference with Malli and that she only uses high quality, effective and efficient products. Legit, best facials and I don’t see myself going anywhere else. I’ve referred several individuals that won’t go anywhere else but to see her now.

19 years ago I came in to the salon based on a recommendation and never left. Tony listens to what you’re asking for and offers suggestions. I never worry about how my hair is going to turn out. He is amazing with naturally curly hair. Their shop moved two times and I followed. No reason to go anywhere else as they are full service! Prices are beyond reasonable.

I have been going to Joseph & Anthony Salon for about 10 years. Tony, one of the owners has always cut and styled my hair to perfection. He makes my visits enjoyable with his great conversation and sense of humor. Mila who is responsible for my highlights is a gifted artist who is creative and focused. She never rushes and her attention to detail is appreciated. The salon’s environment is friendly and warm. There are always delicious cookies and hot coffee to be sampled. I highly recommend giving Joseph & Anthony Salon a try you will not be disappointed.

I’ve been going to Joseph and Anthony Salon for many years. It’s really a nice place, conveniently located in the heart of Glenview. There is parking behind the salon, if you don’t find any spots on the street.
I go to Mila for my styling needs. I get color with highlights and I can’t tell you how many compliments I get– even from other stylists!!! She does a fabulous job. So if you’re looking for a new salon or a new stylist, be sure to go to Mila at Joseph and Anthony. You won’t be disappointed.

Love this place! I am SO picky about who cuts my hair — so much so that for years I drove 2 hours back to my old salon. So I was sick of driving and looked to Unilocal and found Joseph & Anthony Salon. Which is why I love all you Unilocalers!
Tony is my guy and he is AWESOME! He tolerates my crazy and gives me exactly what I want for a fantastic price. If any of my friends lived closer they would ALL go here. I also take my daughter here, who has pretty crazy hair and Joe takes care of her (but always listens to me). Joseph & Anthony’s also has an aesthetician and nail person. I have only worked with each once but was very pleased. Still planning to schedule a facial.
In others reviews, everyone says their mother goes there too. There is nothing wrong with that but I do sometimes feel like my daughter and I are really pulling down the average age. Not a dig just a warning not to look past this great place for that reason.
As others have said, they only take cash but with the reasonable prices there is no need to clean out the ATM on the way there.

If I could give this place 6 stars I would. I have been getting my hair cut by Tony (Anthony) for more than 10 years. I have NEVER received a bad haircut here. Ever. No joke. Tony is classically trained and mixes old school down to earth know how with the ability to also produce any modern style cut you want. Yes he’s that good. The atmosphere is welcoming and the salon is modern and very clean. This place is a hidden jem in the heart of downtown Glenview just behind Glenview House. Oh yeah, be prepared to talk a lot when you get your hair cut. Tony is a great guy and yes he’s a character and a talker.

Been coming to Joe and Tony for years. Yes, I’m a dude, and I’ve been coming to this salon as its moved from space to space for about 15 years. I ain’t afraid to say my metrosexual side comes out in this place.
My mom goes, my older brother used to go, I try to get friends to go, but they’re all going bald, so I think I can credit my hair to the work at this place.
I’ve done everything to my head at this place, frosted tips in high school (don’t know what I was thinking), the flat top, the buzz cuts, a FADE, and now I keep it professional for the workplace.
I usually, make that, always, go to Tony. I didn’t go one month and went to a new place and it wasn’t the same; the cut, the conversation, even how it was styled.
It’s a mix of an old school Italian shop where you can get a cut and talk shop and a salon where you can get work done for weddings, proms, or other special events. They’ve got everything you need for your hair needs; even their own styling products.
They can accommodate your schedule and have a lot of stylists on hand who can work with whatever you’re looking to do. They also have lots of style books on hand and can also do manicures and pedicures.
It’s near the train and about 10 minutes away from Wilmette, Old Orchard, the Glen, and 294. Well, 10 minutes for me.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go and drink beer and watch some Nascar.
