I can’t say enough about the Goode & Fresh pizza. We’ve since moved 40 minutes from Glenview, but still make special trips for their Take & Bake… which is easy, consistently fantastic, and just like regular take out. We moved 8 years ago, but Jay still treats us like we never left. Highly recommended.

The Chopped Salad is SOGOOD I didn’t even realize it had egg in it — I don’t like eggs in my salad. but this is that good! That dressing is what really makes it! My parents brought it to a party and it was so amazing I ordered it for my next get-together. We now always order extra so guests can take some home! Thank you Jay for years of fab. pizza. And — if you are one of those folks who think it’s just average pizza then you aren’t ordering the right pizza! The STUFFED pizza is the one to get. Spinach, Sausage & Mushrooms are family FAVEs!

We order from Good And Fresh on occasion, maybe once every couple of months. However, I recently had a large party and thought their shebang pizzas would be a good idea, esp with lots of kids. It’s a large rectangular pizza that feeds a lot of people. I placed the order about two days before the party, and prepaid. I set up for a 5:00 delivery time. It was about 5:10 when I walked inside and saw my messages blinking. It was Good and Fresh! They had called at like two minutes after five saying they’d be there in just a few minutes, driver stuck in traffic. Anyone living in Glenview knows that part of town does get crazy with traffic. Anyways, the pizzas arrived very shortly after hot and delicious. I was really impressed that they called me literally a few minutes past the time. I mean the guy was there by 5:15 at the latest, and I probably wouldn’t have even noticed, but they cared enough to call. Nicely done Good and Fresh, nicely done!

A Glenview staple. Solid pizza thin crust is the way to go. They also have this pizza bread that is to die for. If you lived in Glenview in the 90’s you definitely had pizza bakery a time or two. It was either Langtry’s which became north branch or pizza bakery.

Their food is pretty consistent – decent pizza, sandwiches, and other entrees. However, their track record for messing up orders is pretty poor. About a quarter of the time that we order from this place, they screw something up. Their prices always feel a bit too high for what you’re getting, and they always seem to be penny pinching about one thing or another. Visiting always leaves me with a bad taste in my mouth, and the employees seem generally unhappy. When you call to order, Jay’s recordings greet you, describing in pretty annoying adjective-laden detail what he is pushing for the day.

Awesome gluten free pizza! I look forward to trying more of the menu, but the gluten free pizza will be a staple.

yes, their chicken is good, but, after going there for many years, we are done. Their broasted potatoes used to be good. The last 2 times we ordered, I threw them out. Both times they were inedible. We said nothing the first time, hoping it was just a fluke. The next time the potatoes were horriffic. They were limp as noodles, greyish /black in color and black inside when you cut them. Obviously the oil was old, not cooked properly and rotten. They were inedible so I threw them in the garbage. My husband called to complain and was told they sold them all day and noone else complained. Really? For a big $ 3 the woman on the phone said they would have picked them up had I not put them in the disposal, no apology. Then she reluctantly gave us a $ 3 credit. Had she had any business sense she would have seen our order record on their computer, and, what kind of business owner argues with a customer? No problem with the credit– we will not be ordering anymore– I can get better chicken at Marianos. Keep your rotten potatoes and eat them yourself. Most important question– how can people so cheap and stupid stay in business? I will be sure to tell my friends.

We’ve been struggling to find a place nearby that has good, thin crust pizza, and unfortunately, this place isn’t it. I want to give them three stars, but at the end of the day, my feeling is exactly«Meh, I’ve experienced better.» We ordered a medium pizza, cheese sticks, and soda for delivery. We were told it’d be about an hour and fifteen minutes before the pizza got there, and I was okay with that – their honesty was appreciated. The pizza ended up getting here thirty minutes early than estimated(yahoo!). Unfortunately, it was JUST the pizza. No cheese sticks, no soda. The delivery guy owned up to it and said someone was right behind him bringing the rest of the order. It was more like 10 minutes later(and we’re 5 minutes away), and the cheese sticks were cold. There was no soda. The delivery guy was nice enough to go back to the shop and bring some for me(he thought the first delivery guy had it). It would have been nice for the manager to give us a coupon for future purchase, a discount, even a CALL apologizing for their error(s), but nothing. As someone who works in customer service, this is unfortunate. Also, I wasn’t a fan of their sauce – it’s sweet, and their crust is bland. And their marinara for the cheese sticks was more like a salsa(chunky with too much green pepper flavor). Looks like we’re still on the hunt for a pizza place.

Their gluten-free pizza is the best. I like it even better than their regular pizza. Definitely recommend their gluten free pizza with sausage and mushroom. YUM!

Ordered for the first time and loved the pizza! Wife picked it up and met the owner. She said he was nice guy and was friendly by explaining the care that goes into the fresh ingredients and pizza making. We order thin crust and was quite tasty. Definitely coming back!

Yeup, that’s right folks I gave this place 5 stars for their gluten-free crust pizza. Hands down by far the BEST gluten-free pizza I’ve had so far. Sorry Pie-Hole, but you were just overtaken. The price and quality of their GF pizza is amazing. Definitely affordable for those being somewhat health conscious with their junk food cravings(to say the least, haha). The gentleman who took our order was very personable and helpful with giving us recommendations for toppings. My girlfriend and I came in to order one pizza and we left with two. It’s that damn good. Two words: AMAZINGCRUST. Go there and find out for yourself.

Still love love love the broasted chicken. Just thought you all should know that :) Get it home as fast as you can before the container makes the crispy crust soft and chewy.

The Bone In Chicken charbroiled just the way we like it was great. A healthy choice for delivery and the Italian Beef the boys ate got my seal of approval. The meat was quality, although i question using a heavy doughed baguette instead of standard French. Good experience this time for sure.

This place is a joke. The owner(Jay) needs to attend customer service classes. We had a large order that we wanted to pick up shortly after they opened today. So we called last night to ensure we gave Jay the time to prepare our order. Jay informed us that he would not give us today’s special prices because we were ordering last night? Really? We do you a favor and try to give you as much time to fulfill the order as possible and you act like we owe you? Not how it works. I’m very disappointed in Jay. Jay needs to realize that customers are what lets him get out of bed every morning and have a place to work. Not only have you lost a customer, you will lose everyone we know as customers. Well done Jay… Well done…:(

This place rocks. I have used them for the family dinner and also for parties. I really like thier regular pizza. My wife loves the pan(spinach). The party pizza is a great deal and feeds twice as many as they say. The kids LOVE the Goode & Fresh soda. They love the blueberry, and I like the black cherry. The chicken fingers are great for the kids. Good meat. We have ordered sandwhiches and salads occasionally, and they are good too, but the pizza always suffices. The service is the best. I have never had a wrong order, or had to wait for the pick-up. The occasional delivery is perfect and quick. The owners are always there and are involved in the community. A glenview icon!

Ordered the giant party pizza today and it was a rave review. Meat on one side and vegetarian on the other. The party pizza really does feed 10 – 12 adults+ The crust is different than the other places we order from and substantial but not overwhelming. Also ordered the wings and they had a good kick to them. Everything was hot, crispy and delicious.

Actually, we did call the owners to complain about the wrong delivery and then an undercooked mess of a pizza they sent as a replacement and they were nothing but rude to us. All they needed to say was a simple«I’m sorry,» but they refused. Terrible food and customer service. My child was hungry after a trans-continental flight and when we arrived they sent us a sausage pizza(we are vegetarians!) — after waiting an hour, we peeled off the sausage so she could eat it and when they finally arrived with our cheese pizza(that was undercooked and soggy) they wanted the original pizza back. We gave it back but when they saw that my daughter had eaten a couple of pieces(of which we had peeled off the sausage), they said, «We can’t take this back!» Were they going to give it back to the original customer? Yuck! We have ordered from here before as we make this trip every year, but never again. Terrible food and customer service. Can’t believe they’ve been in business this long; must be going downhill.
