Simply great! Omelettes are tasty. So are pancakes. It is a very kid friendly environment and servers are nice. Wait time varies from time to time.

Nice breakfast/brunch/lunch place with a lot of variety on the menu. The server let us know that they had just introduced a new menu(this week, I think). There were basic standbys like pancakes, waffles skillets and omelettes and run of the mill sandwiches & salads, but also interesting combinations and ingredients(quinoa, black beans, chia seeds, fried green tomatoes. etc.). I got the Cassie’s crepes, which were crepes filled with scrambled eggs and vegetables. They came with perfectly browned potatoes and a cute english muffin that looked and tasted freshly baked(with a little dish of berry jam). My husband got an egg salad melt, which was like a combo of egg salad and grilled cheese and a side of fried green tomatoes. Everything was delicious, the service was fast and friendly. Only downside was there was a bit of wait, which was surprising for a weekday early afternoon. I’m guessing it’s jammed on weekends. But if you don’t mind waiting, the food is worth it.

A nice place to come grab breakfast on a sunny morning(indoor and outdoor seating). Servers are very kind and responsive to your needs. Food is generally 3⁄5 stars, being not too flavorful and not memorable(I tried fork fulls of their skillet and omelette). I ordered an eggs benedict, a dish I order at all breakfast places, it being my medium of comparison. Very bland and unexciting, I got very tired of the dish after eating half of it. The dish comes with a side of potatoes that were cooked well, not too greasy, but had absolutely no appealing color to them. I would think about coming again because it the vibes of this place are relaxing and a nice place to have conversation to catch up with family.

My friends and I visit when we are all in town. The wait can be very long during their busy time. I love the food there and always order a strawberry orange juice. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. We can’t wait to go back!

Great breakfast diner with freshly made food and extremely nice staff. My waitress Betty was SUPERB. She was cheerful, friendly and super accommodating. Menu offers wide range of food options for a breakfast place. I tried the chicken sausage and feta cheese scrambler. The eggs tasted fresh and the plate came with house potatoes that were seasoned and an English muffin with AMAZING jelly. Food portions are generous and nicely priced. The strawberry orange juice I tried from my friends order was amazing. Will definitely be returning.

First time to Egg Harbor today and I am sorry to say I was disappointed. I had the special frittata which was just ok and could have been cooked a bit longer. The potatoes and english muffin were hardly cooked/toasted and the fruit wasn’t yet ripe. This is a busy place and I think they were cranking out the food today. The coffee and tea were good and the server was very attentive and nice. I can’t say I would choose to go again.

I ordered the traditional breakfast I got 2 eggs over medium chicken sausage multigrain toast and potatoes overall it was ok it wasn’t the best chicken sausage I had the potatoes were ok. They also give you a side of preservatives which I really didn’t like. I ordered the strawberry orange juice that was okay. Service was good.

We came in on a Sunday so there was a 20 minute wait, but once we were seated the service was blazing fast. The food came to our table so quickly. The server was very knowledgable and friendly. We both ordered the Quinoa Skillet and it was very fresh and delicious. The freshly squeezed orange juice was so refreshing along with the coffee. We absolutely love how they carry almond milk and organic ketchup. Amazing restaurant and we will gladly be back the next time we’re in Chicago. Great for vegans and vegetarians!

Best breakfast I have had in a long time. We moved away 20 years ago & it was wonderful to be able to enjoy the Quinoa Breakfast Bowl!!! I am going to make it when we go back to Las Vegas. Wonderful informative staff! Didn’t want the Breakfast Bowl to end!!! Will definitely be back whenever I am in Chicago.

I can’t say enough about this place. We only found it because we had an awful experience at Jaspers(see my review). Egg Harbor is a bit more out of our way, but so worth it. Always crowded on the weekends with a wait, the wait has never been more than 25 minutes and pleasant. They even have coffee for you while you wait. The staff and manager are BEYOND friendly, no matter how busy they are. I can’t think of another breakfast establishment that is so pleasant. And the food is absolutely delicious. This is a must if you have never been there.

A must come! Multiple options! Excellent Service and the food was delicious! Love that hey leave a pitcher of water on the table. I personally drink a ton of water; hence never need to worry about your cup being empty and waiting for more. Also the wait isn’t too bad. Definitely busier on the weekends. Worth the wait.

Depending on the time of day, expect to wait 20 – 35 mins. While I’d rather choose Wildberry over Egg Harbor anyday, this place is second on my list. You have a variety of selections and for the price you can’t really complain. My personal favorite are their benedicts. Portions are avg but they do not comprise on quality. Just the way I like it. Staffs are friendly and informative but sometimes lack attention when it gets too crowded. Understandable but can be better.

Got one of their specialties — San Antonio scrambler or something like that. Eggs cooked to order over potatoes sausage and jalapeños with cheese. It was very good. Busy place, crowded and noisy but not too bad. Private Lot parking so easy.

I am now gluten free and I have to say this place is THE spot for gluten free breakfast. The gluten free pancakes are delicious with a nice vanilla flavor and the gluten free cinnamon rolls are awesome. Just wish they were closer location to us. Service is always fast and great! I really miss the cinnamon roll french toast now that I am gluten free, but perhaps they will offer that and more gluten free items in the future as well.

You can’t go wrong with Egg Harbor, but this location is especially neat during summer days to sit outside and enjoy sunshine and breezes. Delicious food of course, and really nice staff make this one of my fave Harbors to date.

This restaurant is located across from the North Glenview Metra station. Come early to beat the rush. Regardless of how busy this place gets, it is always tidy and clean. The drinks are wonderful. I love the vanilla coffee and the freshly squeezed orange juice. The food is always delicious. I usually get one of the Benedicts, breakfast combo, or Matt’s Meaty skillet *Note~dont get this skillet when they are close to closing, the bacon always tastes like burnt scraps. The staff is always friendly and speedy. This place is amazing!

Always go for breakfast. Haven’t had their lunch items. Our favorite thing here is their English muffins. We always order a couple extra sides of these. Sweets… Kids like the rainbow pancakes. Their plain pancakes are just as good! Banana French toast is also delish! Savory… Fave is the lox Benedict! Love their flavored coffee options and they give you a cup to go if you don’t think you had enough during your breakfast. Service is always prompt n efficient!

This is hands down my favorite breakfast/brunch place in the burbs! I’ve been coming here since I was in high school and the food/service is consistently good. There usually is a wait on the weekends unless you go early or closer to closing time. However they have Intelligensia coffee in the entrance area so that pretty much offsets the wait time, right? Because who doesn’t like free, yummy coffee? Egg Harbor is a cozy breakfast/brunch spot and the décor makes you feel like you’re at home or at your grandma’s. I always tell myself I’m going to try something new every time I come(and that’s been years…) but I can’t tear myself away from the skillets because they’re so gosh darn good! So as you can see, the only things I can review are skillets haha My go-to skillet is the San Antonio which has chorizo, jalapenos, bacon, and onions along with their house potatoes and topped with eggs cooked however you like them. How can anyone go wrong with that? I’ve also tried their Matt’s Meaty Skillet which is delicious but you need to be in the mood for protein overload(bacon, ham, and sausage. mmmmmm). Just today I tried their new skillet, the BBQ pulled pork, which was a great choice as well! That counts as trying something new in my book! BBQ in the morning… what else could you ask for? It was slightly sweet from the BBQ sauce but had a nice kick from the jalapenos. Good combo! As for drinks, their bottomless coffee is a great option as well as their fresh squeezed orange juice. But the best part of the meal is the yummy dinner mints they give you with the check. I’m a sucker for these melt in your mouth mints. I know you can buy a whole bag of these from the dollar store but still… these are a nice treat! To sum it up, Egg Harbor is awesome and you should stop by for a great breakfast!
