Based upon the ‘lunch special’ yeah I’ve experienced better… much better. I know it’s tough to beat Pita Inn but you’ve got to do better than a tiny bit of chicken shawarma over a ton of yellow rice. The chicken was very good and the rice was well… rice! That was it! The rest of the menu is pricy. Head north a few blocks to the Siunik Armenian Grill for a truly excellent ‘lunch special’.

Never thought I’d say this but their falafel, shawarma, and hot sauce are better than pita inn! The chicken is crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside and the falafel is so crispy and delicious. They made everything fresh to order and the owner even gave me a yummy lentil soup on the house! Will definitely be back :)

While there are many restaurants like Adam’s Kabob,(Wild Pita, Naf Naf, Pita Inn) none are as good as this one. The quality and fresh taste of the shawarma definitely put Adam’s Kabob ahead of the rest. The salad is crunchy and fresh, the pita warm and tasty. Everything as it should be. You can try the others but Adam’s Kabob will assure this will be your first choice.

The kefta kabobs are amazing. So flavorful and moist. Rice is also very good. The hummus tastes a little sour to me but has good texture. Good portions.

Super friendly service and you can taste the difference with it all being homemade. So glad for a great, new food option on the drive to Costco.

I heard some buzz about this place, and found these reviews online. I immediately when to pickup food for my family and a guest(6). We made the mistake of ordering an entre for each person, which made the bill $ 60+. The mistake was we didn’t realize how much food we would get! My fridge is still full a day later. The chicken shawarma was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The hummos was out of this world — fresh, smooth, and flavorful. The falafel were made on the spot. I have frequented Pita Inn and Wild Pita. This food out ranked these venues. I definitely will eat there again. Next time I will call ahead, as the food is made when you order, so there is a little wait.

I just don’t get the hype of this place. I stopped in here for lunch today shortly after they opened because I live close by and I drive past this place every single day. Glenview has its fair share of Mediterranean options in the area(Pita Inn, Wild Pita, Naf Naf in Evanston) so its not like Adams Kabob lacks local competition. I ordered the Chicken Shawerma sandwich combo which came with my choice of side and a can of soda. I opted for the Jerusalem fries. My lunch total came to 11 dollars! Definitely pricier than the other options in the area but I had hoped that the taste would justify the price. Honestly I’ve had better. While the Shawerma was moist and very well seasoned, I found it to be a little too salty for my tastes and I do not like bland food. The Jerusalem fries though were pretty awful. To tell you the truth, they weren’t even fries. They were very thin slices of potato which had absorbed a bunch of frying oil because they weren’t cooked long enough. As a result they were soggy and gross. I had to throw over half of them out. The seasoning that they put on there did absolutely nothing to the fries. I still had to add a little salt to them. I will admit, the owner was nice though and the fact that my food was made fresh to order was a nice touch. Overall, I don’t think I’ll be back. I’d much rather head to Pita Inn on the other side of town for food that is cheaper and just as good if not better. If this place lowered their prices, they’d perhaps fare a little better but as it stands right now, the reason they’re charging a premium is because they’re in Glenview and in my eyes that’s not right.

Delicious shawerma sandwich and falafel. First time there and had 15 mins to eat while driving through Glenview on business. Ali was very welcoming and even surprised us w/some free falafel. Recommended to the first person I saw afterward :)

My wife and I just went here for lunch and loved it. We both got the kefta entrée. The order took about 15 minutes to fill, which is perfectly acceptable. While we were waiting, the owner gave us a couple of free falafel to try. My wife is a bit of a falafel snob and said it was the best falafel she had ever had. The entrees were huge. Easily enough for two. The kefta was flavorful and reasonably tender. It came with a side salad and hummus. Salad was perfectly fine, the hummus was great. All in all, nice little restaurant with great food at reasonable prices. I will definitely be back.

Chicken schwarma wrap was delicious! Pita was not too thick but not too thin either… just perfect. Jerusalem fries were tasty as well. Will definitely be coming back to try other items from menu. Owner was super friendly too!

This place is very yummy! The grilled chicken is so good. Nicely charred and the chicken schwarma sandwich is very tasty. Less a fan of the Jerusalem fries. Not as crispy as I would like and too much spice. The hummus is excellent. The guys are super nice and offered samples of we had questions. I wish them success, so go there!

This place is so good I’m rating it 5 stars before I even begin to eat my dinner. I had a chance to meet the owner and he was gracious enough to let us sample a few items. This is the BEST Mediterranean Food in town. Everything is made fresh to order, except for the pitas. No advertisement needed, the food speaks for itself.

I was excited to see the sign that read«GRANDOPENING» because I really needed to change up my lunch options. I also am happy cause I can walk there for lunch and because they gave me free falafel when I first went there. The food is great! Portions are huge and the pita is pretty decent! The place is kinda small but there are a good amount of tables and chairs(I think I saw them bringing in more tonight) The guys there are real nice and now they have lunch specials! Check this place out!

I’ve been wanting to check this new neighborhood place so I went with my daughter for lunch(Saturday) and tried the Adam’s Platter($ 14.95) to taste a little bit of everything. Kefta, shawerma, grilled chicken, falafel, rice, pita bread and side salad. The shawerma and grilled chicken were tender and delicious although they were«too» seasoned for my taste. My daughter and I had to keep drinking water after every bite to wash down all of the seasonings in the meat. The crunchy falafels were great and filling(thanks to the owner who gave us more free falafels)! The place is clean with a few tables and chairs, and the service is great!

First time trying this place. We got Kefta Kabob Entrée, Chicken Shawerma Sandwich and a side of falafel. Yum! Really fresh and flavorful. The portions are generous. Falafel is probably the best we ever had. Definitely coming back for more!

Came here for lunch after trying falafel that the owner gave me(for free!). Best falafel I’ve tasted. I ordered the Gourmet Falafel sandwich, which my friend and I both found to be absolutely delicious. We were also treated to complimentary hummus(amazing) and very hospitable service. The place was very clean and our orders were filled promptly. Great dining addition to the neighborhood!

Accidently bumped into this Mediterranean restaurant after Dunkin. I’m used to going to Pita Inn or Wild Pita but I figured I give it a try since they just opened. Honestly, this place was superb! Falafel was fantastic! It was not dry and seasoned well. I ordered the Adam’s platter and it was delicious. The chicken shawarma was moist and the beef was cooked perfectly. Not a fan of the yellow cabbage but don’t like cabbage in general. I would highly recommend trying this place out. Staff was really nice.
